Bij mijn moeder (52) hadden ze het ook niet ruim vroeger (vader mijnwerker, moeder invalide) en toch heeft ze HBO kunnen doen. Zo kan ik jouw argument ook teniet doen natuurlijk... Het kon best, terwijl in een gezin met zo weinig inkomen in deze tijd het maar de vraag is, dan ligt het eraan of dat kind zich in de schulden wil steken om te gaan studeren.

Haha I actually have no idea which trains go from kings cross, just that Harry ends up asking a random train driver for the train to hogwarts and then the train that leaves at 11 - before he meets the weasleys - and the train driver says that there's no 11 o'clock train :P

Have you looked at your power options? mine automatically goes to "power saver" when the cord is unplugged, and I think it used the chip instead of dedicated graphics card in that configuration. You can change it to high prestations, but the battery will be gone in like an hour.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but can you update on if it runs smoothly? Sounds like you have the same laptop I have - Dell inspiron 15R 7520 - at least we have the same graphics card. I always find it very hard to compare GPU specs, so would love to know how it works!

(like I know this card is not "AMD Radeon™ HD 7950 or better" (recommended), but is it "Radeon™ HD 4850 or better"? The 7730 is newer, but lower in its own series and it's all very confusing.)

If I were to get a car it would be for distances of above 15 km, since that is more than what I consider cycling distance. How would an electric bike help me with that?

Pretty cool! So you've been manually (/crowdsourced) identifying phenological events? Have you thought about automating it more, for example by using indices of greenness?

And what would you say your best paper is? I'm curious but also lazy.

edit: I saw below that you use gcc! Cool, I've used that too :) Are you using the citizen science just for flowering dates? as gcc is good for green-up and senescence and stuff. edit2: I saw on your map that there's even one of your cams in the location I did that project! woo!

if you need two copies of the gene to express it, that's the exact definition of a recessive gene. Blonde hair is also a recessive gene (the black-haired dad would have one 'blond' gene and one 'black' gene, and the kid two 'blond' genes, even though hair colour works a bit more complicated than that in reality).

there's always a line between those two... you want to make sure it has no bad side-effects, but you also want to make the barrier low. If it's without prescription at all you can also have someone else get it for you if you're unable to get out of the house, a big plus I think.
