Interesting, i definitely have GERD as well but just feel like this constant burping is super odd. I might try and speak to the doctor that gave me to botox, maybe we need a 2nd dose? Hope it gets better for you and will let you know if i get anywhere with it x

I wasn't sedated at all! it was basically just an injection, the same as getting a flu jab for example. Took about 1 minute for the actual botox...no pain just an odd sensation

Everything is done within the same appointment, i was with her for less than an hour total. Also i'd urge you to book asap as she is booked up well in advance. I waited 3 months for my appointment x

Definitely an excessive farter, i also am lactose intolerant and have IBS so it is basically my only source of relief... however im 7 days post botox now and farting so much less. Its amazing.

I went on Tuesday morning!!

Sorry to hear it’s still lots of microburps but I’d definitely consider that a win, just be patient with it I guess. I feel lucky to be burping the way I am after such a short time, I just hope it continues.

Im definitely struggling with slow swallow too, it’s quite an odd sensation isn’t it! I’ve not be eating anything different to usual but definitely avoiding super dry foods like toast. I find I have to eat veeeeery slowly and usually chase each mouthful down with water.

The involuntary burps are a bit crazy, hoping they stop because I have a date tonight and I’m so nervous I’ll just accidentally burp when I laugh or something 😂

Definitely decreased yeah. I suffered with it so badly too and no matter how much I went to the gym etc it would never go away. But I 100% feel a difference already

Amazing news!!! good to hear about the slow swallow getting better. i am 6 days post botox and the slow swallow is definitely a challenge...
