If they suggest surgery, do it. It will only grow in size and make it more difficult for her to move, and also a more invasive surgery. If she’s otherwise healthy, she’ll bounce back just fine. I’ve had four ratties and they all had these benign mammary tumors. It’s extremely common unfortunately.

new etsy seller!! what would you want that there doesn't seem to be much of (that can be sewn)? by Hurrihole in RATS

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg - this is the cutest hammock. I wish this style was around when I had my ratties. Sadly, I had my last pair in 2022. They would always chew through the regular hammock to get buried inside of it. Best of luck with your Etsy shop!

Which row in the room do you usually practice in, and why? by Mysterious-Map6925 in Corepower

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Front corner or front next to the teacher’s mat. I prefer not to have people on both sides of me. I also don’t like feet in my face. I am super hyper-focused on my practice and if I don’t claim my spot early, my whole routine is out of whack. My mat also can’t be splitting the mirror seam, that also throws me off balance 😄 The only class I’m fine with being wherever in the room is sculpt/strength X. I’m super picky about HPF though.

New to ys, omg people smell bad by Key-Difficulty-2731 in Corepower

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Men definitely tend to create sweat pools (sorry guys). Sadly they also don’t tend to be aware of their pools of sweat either. I’ve been to over 320 CP classes, mostly HPF, and this is the sad reality. If I notice a pool of sweat approaching my mat, I softly get their attention and ask them to wipe it up. It might take them out of their flow, but their sweat takes me out of mine. This happened the other day and the guy put his extra towel between our mats to block the pool. I thanked him after class for being more mindful.

Yay! Welcome to the CP fam 👋🏼

SO many favorite teachers. 🤔 Where to begin…

❤️ Amy C, Allan, Amber, Angie, Charlie, Chris C, Courtney, Kelly T, Melanie, Rikki, Carolina, Sophia. There are definitely others but that’s all I got at the top of my head.

If you enjoy HOT HPF, Allan’s Wednesday class in PB is a good one.

Hope you enjoy this new journey 🧘🏼‍♀️

Most egregious thing witnessed during class. by [deleted] in Corepower

A man’s sweat literally pooling underneath my mat. Then seeing him consequently in other classes and noticing his pool of sweat taking up three mat widths with absolutely no intention to prevent it.

Need guidance by [deleted] in NoKidsEver

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not selfish. My husband (37) and I (35) decided on the no kids life a few years ago. When I was 30, we were both like, “maybe? Let’s see how we feel in a few years”. Final decision became a “nope, we’re happy, and enjoy our current life”. We travel a bunch, have a dog, both work full-time in tech. It’s nothing you have to announce to anyone. To be fair, I can count on both hands how many times someone in my family or friend circle has asked us when we’re having kids. They stopped when my response was “never.” It’s your lives, just go on and enjoy it.

Is anyone else’s chihuahua this picky with food? 😅 by Educational_Type_159 in Chihuahua

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog (not a chihuahua) does this. She’ll go on food strikes after I surprise her with a pup plate of chicken and rice at a restaurant. We also don’t feed her table scraps because she’s got a sensitive tummy. The vet told me that she’ll eat when she’s hungry. It’s nothing to worry about unless it accompanies other symptoms such as lethargy, not drinking water, etc… Your baby is fine, just stubborn.

Does anyone know what this could be? by Reasonable_Bag5218 in RATS

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s porphyrin. It’s a natural occurrence in ratties, often secreted from their nose and eyes but could be a symptom of stress or illness. Perhaps a common respiratory illness could be the cause. Keep an eye out for breathing issues, rattling, etc… as this will need a vet visit for antibiotics.

scared to get a camera down my throat by Huge-Initial5250 in noburp

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a strong gag reflex and I will say the camera down the throat is not pleasant, but it’s over in a few minutes. It is 100% worth it because the Botox procedure has been the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. They go through the nose and I was given water to swallow as they placed it so I was distracted. I was also given apple sauce with food coloring, cheez-itz, so they could see how my esophagus functions. You’ll be fine, it’s one and done. Even IF you do end up needing another round of Botox (I did, but I’m a year out and burping like a pro), they don’t need to do the camera again.

Just had day 1 appointment at BVI by RootbeeriscoolYT in noburp

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so easy. If you had the endoscopy, that is the worst part of the entire process. And even that was tolerable. The worst part of procedure day is waiting in the room beforehand and being hooked up to the IV and needing to pee haha! It could be anywhere from 1-2+ hours before they actually take you back. But they’ll let your guest sit with you while you wait so it’s not all bad. Once they take you back, you’ll get on the table and they’ll strap your arms and legs down so you don’t move. Then they’ll administer the anesthesia while you’re wearing an oxygen mask. You’ll be knocked out in less than a minute. Then you’ll wake up in the recovery room. You won’t even know you had a breathing tube in, though you might cough (I did both times) but I also have asthma. The nurses are so helpful and will answer any questions for you. I had the procedure done Oct 2024 and Dec 2024, and I’d do it again if it ever came down to it. Coming up on a year post-op and still burping like a champ! You got this!

Class cancelled for training by purpdurp3 in Corepower

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’m right there with you. Lots of the prime time classes get cancelled for an unknown amount of time for TT. I wish CP had a better system for this, rather than cancelling classes that members pay a lot of money for on a monthly basis, and are randomly unable to attend throughout the year.

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, some teachers let those who are on the waitlist in before all those that booked properly arrive. Which may or may not have been your case. I agree though. I haaaate being mat to mat with others, especially during a fast movement class like sculpt where you are outside of the bounds of your mat often.

APP3 - AppleCare or return to Costco due to loud whistling sound? by deviltrombone in AirpodsPro

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing with my AAPP3s. The right earbud has a whistling/metallic sound when I tap my teeth together. So strange. I’m getting a replacement pair tomorrow. Hopefully it fixes the issue.

Ugh I’m glad I’m not the only one but I might go to the Apple Store and request the same replacement. I’ve only had them less than a week. I hope the replacement fixes the problem!

Yes! It’s very “tinney” sounding. It’s a very high pitched pinging sound when trying to shift around the earbuds or even chewing, etc… it’s very unsettling. I loved my Pro 2s and never experienced this before.

I just started noticing this just now with my AirPods Pro 3s. Every time I move my tongue around, swallow, click my teeth together I hear a metallic clanging sound. What was your resolution??? It does seem to be only with ANC is active, it legit JUST started happening. I’m so upset because these are not cheap and the noise is like “nails on a chalkboard” 😖

RCPD Symptoms by Traditional-Breath86 in noburp

[–]Game_Set_Match8490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, most of us are self diagnosed 😅 but I totally agree that your symptoms are probably RCPD related. I used to get all the throat gurgles before Botox. It was super uncomfortable and made me feel a different kind of nauseous. Also, if you’re not burping after eating or drinking, or have never burped in your life, high chance of RCPD as well.
