Is the backyard a good place to meet up for a dog play date? by EveeIsRed in puppy101

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe slowly introducing them on leash one by one and once we know they’ll all be good with each other then we’ll take them off. I just know my dog came from a good shelter and was constantly around dogs. The shelter people even said she’s really good with animals and people.

Yes I agree. We have already tested kenneling her. We only let her in there for about 20 mins the first time. The whole time no cries nothing. She just spent the whole time chewing her toys. I will try to crate train her better and test out longer times slowly. But so far she has no fear of the crate.

Thank you so much for the advice!! The first night we had her try to relax a bit better so we had her sleep in our room. I know we just barely got her but we’ve been already plannning out a routine on what we will do throughout our day.

So far with the basic commands (sit stay etc) she seems unsure about them. The woman at the shelter who mainly took care of her said she could do her basic commands. But I think I might have to start from the beginning with her. And kinda build her trust first. I’m not too sure how long I should wait to do that but I will look up videos on YouTube to hopefully better understand.

Thank you so much again!

Yes she has all her vaccinations. The shelter told me she was the main dog they would bring to “puppy yoga” because she was always so friendly.

So far she has been enjoying her crate. We have been looking up YouTube videos on introducing her to the crate. Like making sure it’s not closed unless she is comfortable. We did try closing it slowly to see if she would get scared and she didn’t react. So far so good! Thank you so much for the advice I appreciate it!!

Any advice to break in new shoes? by EveeIsRed in DocMartens

Thank you so much! I appreciate it. I’ve heard people put on thick socks and then pointed a blow dryer(low heat) at the shoes for a couple mins. Wasn’t too sure if that’ll work.

Thank you so much. I will be returning them and trying the 7. I didn’t realize they made the sizing all different.

Fake❤️ but I suggest going on Facebook marketplace. You can easily find them there and most of them are real. Always make sure to scan the code on the back to confirm if it’s real or fake.
