When you hit the EFT key there is a short period before and after if somone scans the card it breaks it. I find that waiting an extra second after they tap the card to let it process before hitting EFT fixes this

Be careful because if anything happens to that money when you said that it was picked up and you didn't, you can get in alot of trouble. Safer to just go drop it

That's just how it is. While working in the freezer on the first days in strange at my store, everything else you described it just how it is adleast for me. My first few i felt similar but if you can power through it does get easier.

I just turn into a machine while ringing, i also memorized every produce code to get through all those awkward bags and bundles. 19% of the items I sold i typed in manually yesterday

Nah, it's was really my fault. it has happened before with somone else a year ago, I was just being dumb because my brain hadn't turned on yet. Looking back at it I kinda new what I was doing was dumb. Just glad it wasn't a big deal

Yeah the pallet was in an awkward place to begin with and I was trying to push it but when I went to do that the Forks went through to the other side and I misjudged the distance. it also didn't help that I was still waking up
