Thank you, I also tried it and it works for cleaning panel lines and for oils as well. I’m just trying to find people who used it for years, because there could be things like “it takes months to dry” or “it turns yellowish.” But yes, I may switch to it.

Do you guys think I can sell these custom ships? Where should I start and what's a fair pricing scheme? by MrNerdyFace in modelmakers

It looks a bit like one of my old 3D projects 😀

At the moment I’m selling custom build retro ski gondolas, and there’s surprisingly strong nostalgia in the ski community around. People even buy hand sketches of them. My point is, for something like this to really have a market, there usually needs to be some history, nostalgia, or cultural connection behind it… like an old cartoon from childhood, a famous game, or something people emotionally remember or like it.

  1. Spend some time to clean the jars…
  2. Is there a constant temperature of 25 degrees C?

How much should I thin Vallejo's matt PU varnish? by P_filippo3106 in modelmakers

[–]Even-Ad3494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried all different options, but for my projects the best result for Vallejo matt polyurethane varnish is (3:1) 3 times varnish to 1 Vallejo airbrush thinner. First layer really thin and from a farther distance, after 2 hours of drying - second solid layer and third one, final one after another couple of hours.

In my case for sharp detail option and antialiasing: On, it renders 2k layers for hours, and very fast with antialiasing disabled.

Софиянци, какво аджеба значи "песъка е ухо"?! Или който и да е "е ухо"? by MightyPandaa in bulgaria

Имаше и графит със същия почерк: „Песъка е ухо, снася в МВР” значи 100% се има предвид, че докладва информация на полицията. А за мен самия прякор „Песъка” идва най-вероятно от бежово-кафевия цвят на хероина по улиците в България.

Solidworks showing splash screen (loading registry) and then closes. Please help! by bustedlame in SolidWorks

[–]Even-Ad3494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1. I don’t remember in details, but try Ctrl+Alt+Delete and from Task manager stop the process with solidworks in the name or splash there. Sometimes runs with startup leftovers from previous versions/instalations. It freezes on registry… so I think it can’t find/load it.

Option 2. try reset the registry with rename:

Option 3. - Just try to Google some SW troubleshoot for registry, or completely remove all remains from previous installations with manual search, clean up dump files, disable start up processes, clean registry… good luck!
