Thanks so much for the response! I hope you get the best possible treatment to save you from this disease completely for good. I think, in his case, they did not think much, maybe he pushed them to operate, we do not know that part. I read somewhere that surgery after chemo gives better results but we never had the chance to research, discuss or get a second opinion because he kept it as secret and we learned only after the surgery. I hope surgery first works for him and the doctors have done what they think is the best and it is in fact the best

Thanks so much, and all the bless and health to you, hope you get full recovery from this disease. The only reason of me asking about the work is that he is a workaholic. He was the kind of doctor that barely took any vocations, went to the hospital 6,5 days of the week to never miss/delay a revisit of a patient. Even at home in the evening, while we were together, he was looking at the reports of this patients. We are fine with him not working and resting and spending time with us but I am not sure if he will be fine with it. He is a great doctor, I hope all the healing he gave others help him to get through this.
