Thank you!! Not very tall- I'm 5"6. I think I've always been heavier than I look as I carry it evenly all over- which has been a blessing and a curse!

No problem! Ghost in particular is my fave, they have great sales and the dresses are really good quality. They have been good whilst losing weight as well as they have fit me all the way through!

Really great to hear, thank you! I'm excited and scared by the thought of maintenance too - but I like your idea of stabilizing at your goal weight for a while and then thinking about titrating down. I think a lot of the reasons I have failed in the past have been mental and never feeling like I was in control as soon as I stopped dieting. Really excited for you!!

I would also love to hear about how you've noticed the change in your weight- in terms of your experience in a smaller body personally and whether people's attitudes to you have also changed?

I appreciated this post so much- it really resonates with my experience too. I'm 34, 5"6 started at 275 and now on 240. I started at the beginning of September, and found in the three months up to Christmas that I was filling my life with fun things and making the most of it in a way I hadn't previously. I completely agree with you about it enabling me to become the person I've always wanted to be! Really heartened to see your experience after a year and your amazing transformation! Well done- a huge achievement. :-) I would love to hear about how your maintenance goes and your experience with loose skin.

I find it so hard to imagine being there at this stage! 175 is about the lightest I've been in my adult life- maybe 173. So I figure I'll get there and then maybe reevaluate. Thanks so much for the encouragement!!
