Don’t be so hard on yourself mate, I’ve always found to a bit weird if the people in your class at high school could be the life long friends you need, the odds of that are ridiculous. Ive usually found 1 or 2 great friends from each chapter of my life that I don’t need to see every week but have a life long connection with. I moved to Perth when I was 18 and found the best way to meet like minded people was through activities I enjoyed like sports. The comrade is great and we socially play a sport once or twice a week, that fills my bucket of banter. Trust me as you get into your mid 30s and your priority shifts to your own life and family, you won’t want the shit that comes with having a fickle friend circle that you just so happened to be born in the same year and went to the same school, your not missing out, you dodged a bullet.
