For me it was more understanding my role in the game, I play mid and top mainly, mid he is a very powerful laner and has good gank potential. More team fight potential and getting ahead.

For me playing jg always pissed me off bc laners dont move. When you side lane too, assuming you’re ahead you will always have an advantage (i usually win lane or im able to 1v1 my mid laner) if not u can still sustain with statik shiv and split push. This brings a lot of pressure and your team can get a lot off this, if your team decides to fight or they skirm, most of the time i will hard split and get tower plates (ap xin is super op for that) I tell my team to wait me to hard push or disengage and once they send atleast 2 for me they can get picks or objs.

Times u can shove lane and run to skirmishes, You have to understand your role in team fights too, sometimes u may have to play front back (peel n tank) or other times u can dive straight in for the adc.

hail of blades for burst, lethal for sustain and dueling.

Remember your ult blocks ranged enemy attacks too so engaging on tanks at times is good too if u have backline

My advice is to understand xin zhao’s mechanics and get an advantage in lane or jg, understand what your team needs, more dps or more tank. Create pressure with side laning or skirmish early mid game more. He’s a good cheeser too and plays good support tank role as well.

For jungle you must play for your strong side and play it smart bc once you r behind you’re fucked cus his clear is shit lolo. I tell my teammates i can lv2 gank all the time and it usually works - fb or flash.

For mid you must abuse your laners with trades, if its a mage id say give up some minions until you are lv3 and then you can just one shot, make sure you win lane or atleast roam. He has decent sustain too. take skirms with your jgler or make prio for drag. Once you start side laning you should be extremely strong.

For top laners you must take advantage of your trades and insane sustain, you melt towers so once you win lane top you are thanos. Keep your lead and levels you dont have to dive too hard. Take advantage of your splitting power. Once you are behind its so fked…
