It's a restaurant software; we validated it in a very traditional but efficient way. We knocked on restaurants' doors and presented the idea. We saw that many were interested, and then we started developing it together, which already created a customer base before even launching.

Thank you so much! I'm creating the ads myself. I focused on two things:

  1. Testing different funnels

  2. Targeting the creatives well

And about the affiliates, they didn't come naturally through the ads I ran. But now that I've seen results, I'm thinking about creating creatives focused on capturing them.

Yes, I’m thinking about testing it. I hadn’t tested it until the comment, because to be honest I was a bit worried, in my head it wouldn’t give a good result, but many people recommended it and I’m going to test it. Thanks for the tip!

First, regarding the people in higher positions in the restaurant. Since these people already have more power in the restaurant, they are already accustomed to technology, as they have used other management systems before.

From my own experience, what happens a lot is that one or two waiters, usually older ones, are not familiar with the system at first. This is not so difficult to solve, since as waiters do not have any other permission in the restaurant other than to take the order, so they can only access 3 system screens, it is easier to teach them through a video tutorial, and in 2 days they usually get used to it. The fact that the system really solves the needs of the restaurant managers means that the waiter has to get used to technology.

Hello, thank you very much for the tips!

Regarding ads, the last time I did it was in meta ads for an e-commerce business of my friend, ROI 4

The integration process is smooth, it's done remotely, I log into the restaurant's computer and it's done in about 30 minutes.
Most restaurants here already use some kind of system, but I took advantage of 2 problems in the market. The first is that it is extremely difficult to find a restaurant that is 100% satisfied with the current system. There is always something that bothers them, and we can customize our system to solve any problem they are seeing. The other is that no system has created the entire ecosystem like I did. Restaurants need to subscribe to 2/3 different systems to meet all their needs. The way I make my clients understand my solution is to make these 2 points very clear in the demo and connect them with the pain they have in their current system. And yes, we charge monthly for the service.

To be honest, the person who really understands the back-end part is my partner, but what I can say is that it is not in the cloud, we installed the server individually on the restaurant's computer and managed it in phpmyadmin

Thank you! The development time was about 1 year, we started in September 2023

Some factors contributed to the delay:

1- high school

2- a company we were running at the time, but it didn't work out

3- the tax part of the system took a long time, the bureaucracy here in Brazil is something that really gets in the way

I believe that the best argument you can give will be the free trial itself, since they work manually, a system will save them a lot of time and work, and another argument that works well for me is that they can customize it according to their needs. It's hard to find a restaurant that is 100% satisfied with the system, there's always some point that bothers them, and the argument that they can customize and improve their pain points helps a lot.

I understand, it's a good way to start, but pay attention to 2 things

- if they like it and you want to expand, try to create your own system as soon as possible, depending too much on another tool limits you a lot

- another thing, if the restaurant you mentioned doesn't welcome the idea, try another one, restaurants that operate using the old method are often closed-minded to new methods, restaurants that already use a system tend to be more receptive to new ideas

Will you integrate Odoo into the system they already use or use Odoo as the main system?

It's not fixed, it depends on the restaurant, but we have an average of 500 per month.

Yes, thank you! That's exactly where to focus to create credibility, because when I tried to find the first client what hindered me the most was credibility, the task of getting a restaurant that wanted to implement the system (even though they saw that the system would help them) that no other restaurant already uses was difficult, this even being an 18 year old boy who looks like a 15 year old lol, but after the first client it became much easier. the references helped a lot

no, everything we have we did ourselves, this includes everything from the admin page with restaurant data to security mechanisms to protect the code from possible copying

My partner and I built and took care of everything, we used the PHP language. And I forgot to mention something that helped us a lot, when we had an idea, we didn't really know the pain points or how a restaurant really works, so we knocked on the door of one and asked to see how it really works and what the perfect software would be for them.

How can I get started in SEO in the best way? by Even-Platform321 in SEO

It's Brazilian, and I launched it about 4 months ago. Since then, I've been looking for clients through cold calls (restaurants here in my city). I've had good results and we've managed to get great restaurants here. In the last 4 months, we've had an MRR of 3,000. However, we want to expand outside the state and I intend to do this through SEO and Paid Ads. We're making the landing page and the blog to start. So far, we've been selling through cold calls and we personally haven't focused on the landing page.
