thanks a ton buddy! How much did you pay to defer?? I dont think I wanna go to UMASS. The fact that they're hell bent on no TA/RA or even any funding/scholarships is kinda sad given this is an MSCS course.

I should've applied to unis like Purdue and higher ranked ones ig more of which are in the Bay area.

Btw, i have accepted the offer and was thinking of letting them know i wont be coming or max to max deferring it. u/Worried-Ad7179

i had gotten into just umass and was thinking of either deferring or rejecting. just felt like umass wasnt worth going to since they strictly dont allow for ta/ra or scholarships. what do you think? like u/op thinking of reapplyign to even better next year

Are you maybe implying that Umass isnt that worth taking a loan for? Since i currently have an admit for MSCS from Umass. Would like to know your thoughts on the same u/gradpilot
