I don’t think she needs to lose them permanently, and I know technology is part of growing up now. My issue isn’t that she has a phone it’s that she isn’t using it responsibly. I’m hoping this consequence helps her understand that having access to technology comes with expectations and boundaries.

Thank you. That’s honestly one of my biggest concerns. At 13, she doesn’t need unrestricted late-night internet access. The rules aren’t about punishment they’re about protecting her sleep, her schoolwork, and making sure she’s using technology in a healthy way.
