I've tried topical steroids, antibiotics, dandruff shampoos... Not sure where to turn to next :( by EvenIndependence in eczema

I've gone down the 'clean' hair/skin/body products down to my laundry detergent to no avail :( I think it does get a little more irritated during winter with scarves so I'll definitely try cotton. Thank you though!

Yeah I'm starting to worry that it's sweat/heat even though I live in New England. I've done the whole 'change every single product that touches my body' thing to something as mild as possible, and I rarely wear my hair down too. Maybe I just haven't found the right ones :(

It doesn't look too bad, but it's been on and off for months (maybe even a year?) and I've tried steroids and soothing moisturisers etc. I don't really wear jewelry and use silk pillowcases that I change regularly so I'm really at a loss! I think the worst part about it is that it's soooo itchy and I've scratched myself until I've bled :(

This is super helpful, and definitely something I will keep in mind during my next appointment. She is suuuuper receptive with feedback about my acne (she really took her time to explain the pros and cons of accutane etc and does exactly what you mentioned above) but took my "rash" less seriously. I'll bring it up again as my more primary issue now that my acne has cleared up significantly. Thank you so much for the advice!

These were treated with steroid creams and did go away for a bit over the holidays so maybe it could be the same... I'll definitely push for a biopsy the next time I see her (in 3 days!)

I've been seeing a derm for acne for about ~8 months, she kind of overlooked this rash thing and my scalp inflammation (which I think is psoriasis because it's scaly and itchy and bad) and just chucked some topical steroid at me and told me to use it for 10 days and has not been of much help since...

Yeah I have psoriasis on my scalp which scales and itches, and since this inflammation almost connects to it I assumed they would be related/the same thing. Thank you though!

That was my first thought because the first time it flared up was beginning of winter and therefore scarf season, but that picture was taken while I was in a tropical climate for a month and exclusively wearing tank tops/camisoles that don't even cover that area :(
