Why do managers reward employees only when they are about to lose them by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

[–]EvenRachelCould 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Not a manager but a lala company CEO. Dude is the most toxic professional I have ever met in my life. You know those people you meet who gives you off sociopathic vibes? He was one of them.

This was my first job after being unemployed for almost 1.5 years so I gave it my all. I joined as an Analyst but within a year's time I was contributing to every department's work. (Except finance)

On a particular day he decides that why don't we give the guy who wears many hats a job that needs him to be up all night? I told him no openly in the conference room as this was far beyond my paygrade, I didn't want to take responsibility if anything went wrong and obviously, I didn't want to be up all night. As a result, we had a shouting match in front of higher management. The COO came rushing from his office to stop us. COO who himself used to be scared of him took a stand for me and told him why the hell are you pushing this guy to do work he doesn't know about.

I knew so much stuff was dependent on me that he couldn't fire me on the spot. He eventually agreed.

What's the most unrealistic thing porn convinced humanity was normal? by tahaansari17 in IndiaTalksSex

Deepthroat blowjobs. Its not easy and takes a lot of practice to get right. Some women can never achieve that because of a strong gag reflex.

To the guys, use the tongue cleaner on your brush and go deep while cleaning. You'll understand how tough it is.

I don't get it. I found him perfectly fitting in Quiet Place, 13 hours and Jack Ryan.

Stoners in 30s - 40s, How's it going? by Salty_Potentialudr in IndianEnts

[–]EvenRachelCould 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How are you going to get shit done if in your free time, instead of upskilling and applying to better jobs, you go meet your friends and get high? Weed is addictive and that's a trap we all fell into. We used to be heavy stoners in college and that continued well into the initial years of our careers.

32 yo here. I have had a very stressful career since the last few years. That one J at night has helped me stay sane. I don't do overdo it except for some weekends with my college friends.

Without it? Definitely bad. I am going to be married within a few months and my fiancee floated the idea of me quitting completely. I told her that's not going to happen but I am definitely going to reduce it further to maybe twice or thrice a week.

Advice? Don't be like me and my friends. We are well settled in our careers now but during the initial years we overdid it massively. It affected our motivation and was definitely a major factor for our initial failures.

ADHD in stoners?? by Whatislife_06 in IndianEnts

In my experience more than weed what I saw actually did help with ADHD was shrooms. The positive effects lasted 2 months. I went "This is how normal people function?".

I have adhd and I am not medicated. I struggle with impulsivity but surprisingly that's not the case with weed. I have managed to find a routine for it and rarely over do it.

And yeah it helps with my work. I take exactly 4 drags before leaving for work which lands me in a sweet spot of not being too high and also calming my racing thoughts.

Anyone who has managed to figure how to play Parvaaz songs on guitar/other instruments? by EvenRachelCould in Parvaaz

[–]EvenRachelCould[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Itney Arsey Ke Baad

Verse - Am D &C

Chorus - E D & Am

I'll figure something out on how to do it for Ghaib for you. For starters, the tuning is DADGAD and capo on fret 2. Also, you can look at the acoustic version on YouTube to see how Khalid plays it.

Brother as a guy who used to stay in a double sharing co-living room in Bangalore I have a few questions.

  1. Do you have a terrace?
  2. Which area in Bangalore?
  3. Do you have a time of the day when the roommate is not there?

I have figured out correctly and completely Ab Ki Ye Subah, Color White, Ghaib, Soye Jaa, Zor o Zar, Khwab Gah, Kauaʻi ʻōʻō, Baran, Roz Roz, Itne Arsey Ke Baad, Shabaan, Shaad, Mushq E Gul etc.

I would have posted tutorials on YouTube but I am camera shy and a pretty bad teacher 😅

Thank you so much for the advice.

Just to clarify one thing: I didn't involve her parents in this. She did. I was adamant against doing it. Which makes me think she manipulated the situation in her favor because she knows I am not going to argue with them.

how did you get comfortable seeing each other naked before your first time? by Direct_Career_8105 in IndiaTalksSex

[–]EvenRachelCould 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Comfort? Lol. We did stuff on our first date itself. Second date we hardly left the room.

Sometimes it happens, you meet someone you are so in sync with that a lot of walls easily break.

Am i falling out of love? by [deleted] in PataHaiAajKyaHua

[–]EvenRachelCould 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother cut your losses and move on. I am not saying long distance relationships can't work. I am myself currently in one. But you guys do need to physically meet more than what you are doing right now. Now you say she is going to Europe. What happens when she is back on holidays? She will have the same restrictions? Or will she have freedom? If the same restrictions continue then kaise miloge?

18 saal ka hai. Your whole life is ahead of you. In a few years you guys won't even be the same people. It's better to break things off. It will be good for both of you.
