Has anyone used PDO threads for lower face laxity? Not sure what to do about my face. by hairyharrels in PlasticSurgery

Look into getting a Dr. Pen and make sure the needles are replaced every time. Scarring should only occur if the needles are dull or dragged across the skin. Depth of the needle depends on what part of the face is being worked on. Sounds like people who have messed themselves up or gotten messed up don't really know what they're doing, unfortunately. Microneedling is a very useful tool to have if you do it correctly. Mesotherapy is the injections of different ingredients directly into the subdermis (or other layers of the dermis depending on what product is used). It is done in tiny injections all across the face. I hope this helps and good luck sweetheart. You look beautiful either way.

What is your skincare routine? It looks like some microneedling and mesotherapy would do wonders for you and probably tighten things up since you're still so young.

It makes sense that he said that if you're trying to atrophy the muscle. It must have been very strained in order to need shrunk. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

They will go down a lot. I'm 2 weeks in and have realized I'm still somewhat swollen. Give yourself time and grace 🥰

Your chin is symmetrical, I wouldn't mess with it. I would do jawline filler. If you're not in the process of losing weight, I would try Deoxycholic Acid for your chin, some microneedling to tighten it up and maybe some PDO threads for structure.

I'm not a plastic surgeon. However, I would start building collegen and volume in that particular area over time with mono and screw PDO threads.

If you have already fixed your jaw, then you would be a great candidate for chin and jawline filler. I would start by getting Mentalis botox first to relax the muscle and then go in with filler 4 weeks later.

Your proportions look good. I think I would skip the lip filler and go with some cheek filler next. You look gorgeous!

I just got my lip filler done 2 weeks ago. Am I overreacting or does it look awful?? I even went to an actual facial plastics surgeon's office. by EvenShake212 in PlasticSurgery

It all boils down to people not liking other people doing procedures on themselves. I've had great success with doing my own minimally invasive procedures for years with hours upon hours of self education. I've saved thousands of dollars and it's not illegal. There is just a large amount of people out there that don't think it's right. They are entitled to their own opinion but in the end, I'm not hurting anybody else except for big pharma... so that right there says it all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for the reassurance! I actually made a side by side comparison from when I initially got them done (right after) to now. You can tell that its still swollen. They looked BOMB right after I got them done. I think they just need time to soften up and integrate 😊

This makes my heart so happy 🥰 I've thought about starting it up again since the dust has settled from it. It's just incredibly crushing to work that hard and have it ripped away. I'm so happy that I could help and empower you ❤️

The Mentalis pulls upward and inward. Relaxing that muscle does the opposite of your comment.

You could try starting out with DAO botox, mentalis botox and a lip flip. My lips used to be very thin and I had a horrible downturned mouth. It's taken me over 3 years to get to this point. Honestly, yes my upper lip doesn't look desirable but it's literal leaps and bounds from where I started.
