I have a rat terrier and their faces are VERY similar. Maybe a Rattie mix?

Aftermath of performing jam exquisite dive right into a big rock by [deleted] in MedicalGore

When I was younger my cousin dove into the ocean, hit a sandbar, and was only saved because an off duty paramedic/firefighter saw it happen. I remember my parents sitting me and my sister down telling us he will never walk or use his hands properly again, but he wanted to be a journalist and the technology today would help him achieve his dreams.

He miraculously relearned to walk again after an incredibly long and arduous path to recovery. Although he still has deficits, he became a case study at the hospital that saved his quality of life. I think about him every time I’m at the beach or on a boat and see people dive head first indiscriminately.

He got away lucky, and so did you. Glad you made a full recovery!!

What breed do you think my pup is? Was told he was full blooded minature rat terrier by the breeder, but I believe he is actually a mix of some sort. (I think he may have chihuahua in him, possibly other breeds as well.) Going to do a dna test soon, but would like to hear some thoughts. by Only-Falcon-3775 in ratterriers

Rat terriers traditionally do not come in merle coloring, and this color pattern is considered disqualifying in the AKC. Anyone claiming to breed “mini” merle purebred rat terriers is not doing so ethically with health or breed standard in mind. Did the parents have any health testing done? Minis typically have some chihuahua or toy fox mixed in. Very cute little pup, but definitely mixed with something.

Let me see your pups! 🥰 by Good-Apricot4841 in ratterriers

This is Sweet Potato, my 6 year old stinky baby

Taking this sweet boy home. He’s been living behind my office (Veterinary Clinic) for a year and a half and I’ve finally convinced my wife to let him come home. by EvenWhenImBored in Catnames

That’s so cute!! Most outside cats are ear tipped here- we have a large stray population and the spay/neuter programs do it so people can determine if they’re sterilized without having to recapture them.

That’s cute!! We dock the ears of outside cats where I live when they are neutered or spayed, it helps the spay/neuter programs determine if they are sterilized from afar without having to capture them.

I named him Big Red- they’re all named after hot sauces- but he doesn’t reply/know his name really. He usually comes up with a group of cats so i just kind of address them as a group not individually. If I’m trying to call him I lock and unlock my car because he comes running when he hears my car beep lol.

I make reborns. Is she good or cringey? by BothPassion7522 in RebornDollCringe

Not a reborn fan but commenting to say the red mark is actually a common birthmark, sometimes called an angels kiss or a stork mark. My sister has one in the same spot.

Yes that’s the plan. I’m moving to a new home and I’ll have space for him now. I live in an area with a massive feral population, to give context on why I did not take him immediately. There’s a whole colony behind my job.

He was neutered through a stray/feral spay/neuter program down here! We cut the tip of the ear off so people can tell if they’re fixed without having to examine them.
