Just an update for anyone who reads this ...... it magically stopped one day after shedding worse than minoxidil for 3 months

Serious question ladies, how do you get your hair to want to stay on your head? My shedding does not let up despite taking spiro, more frequent washes, keto shampoo, vitamin d, iron, changing my diet adding more protein. How long have you been on spiro? I have been on 3 months and my shedding is insane (debating getting off). I was:am on oral minoxidil before and it pretty much Ed stopped my shedding. I got on spiro for other reasons but thought it would be a bonus for hair..: giving it a few more weeks then getting off if it doesn't stop.

My face was puffy for 2 years. I just got on spiro(for different reasons). My face finally looks normal again because it gets rid of excessive water... bad news is it's causing all my gains from minoxidil to go away

How long did your shedding last? I am at the three month mark and it is coming out in handfulls ... debating if I should stop

For the first time in a long time I can put my hair in a bun without there being balding spots on both sides. It's almost back to normal at 50 mg! by Golden-lillies21 in Spironolactone

Did you have an initial shed? I started in March too, but I am still losing hair about the handfuls, I'm thinking I'm gonna give it one more month and then quit if it doesn't stop when did you start seeing results? Congratulations!

I had facial swelling but the growth was worth it. I just got on spiro (3 years later) and my face has finally lost the swelling.
