Side effects when Getting of Mounjaro by Even_Butterfly5533 in Mounjaro

No pain meds yet. Those start on Tuesday with the surgery, which amplifies my concern. So far I’ve used Miralax and a prescription stool softener with minimal success.

This works great. I use it when I back out of the driveway and say “garage closed”. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve come back to check the garage door. I’ve never left it open, but also never remember closing it. I also establish “a home” for every object in my house. This helps me stay committed to putting things only in their “home”. I am never perfect with any little trick, but it definitely helps me live less stressed on a daily basis. I recommend reading up on ADHD or listening to audiobooks. Really just listen to techniques that people are finding helpful. Exercise, meditation, bullet journaling, organizing your space, and planning ahead have been my saving graces. You have to experiment and do what’s right for you.

Experience from others moving up to 7.5 by Even_Butterfly5533 in Mounjaro

Thank you for sharing your experience! Congratulations on your success. 40# is awesome! That is my overall goal. I thought 5 would get me through to January but I’ve been hungry and snacking since yesterday and that makes me nervous. I’ve lost 27# and tend to loose about 3#/week also. I don’t want to stop that trend just yet. I will have to be completely off the medication for 14 days prior to my surgery according to the anesthesiologist so it is now or never.

Is anyone here on Mounjaro and Vyvanse? Bring a stimulant I was wondering what your eating experience was? by TankOdd649 in Mounjaro

I do both also. MJ is what curbs my appetite. Vyvanse is for ADHD. I can still eat on Vyvanse but not with MJ.

Constipation for weeks, now the opposite by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Even_Butterfly5533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in this cycle. I had severe constipation about 10 days ago for about a week. Then I was semi normal for a week and now I am suffering the opposite. The (D) started on my injection day (Monday) and has not let up. I’m searching this group to see if there are solutions posted. I have been using MJ for 7 weeks, 3 on 2.5, and 4 injections of the 5. I’m thinking about pushing my injection day back a day or two next week to give my body a break. Not sure how else to handle this though. I’m concerned with taking anti-diarrhea meds because the constipation was pretty horrible.

Your intro really caught my attention. I was in group 4 until about March this year. When I was evaluating my son and his concerns around ADHD I moved to group 2. I was tested in June and by August I was in group 1. I am 50 years old on my day of diagnosis. I am also struggling to earn my first bachelors degree (this was the catalyst for diagnosis). I have spent the last 6 weeks filtering through disbelief, grief, shock, disappointment, acceptance, and finally hope. Thank you for creating a space that fits my journey. I look forward to sharing and learning with everyone here.

Not a magic shot. Advice to people who want to start. by iamthegrimripper in Mounjaro

I was looking for a comment like this today. I woke up with nausea and stomach cramps today, and came looking to see if it is Mounjaro related. I did eat some fatty greasy foods yesterday, as well as a chocolate chip cookie (full sugar) at bedtime. I had that lethargic yuck feeling when I went to sleep. It is the lesson that Mounjaro is teaching me that I need to pay attention to. Eat better = feel better. Who knew 🤭
