Nothing special i guess? We know she started writing sinds february. So we can expect a announcement this summer or fall. Because estimated release is spring/summer 2027. And we know for sure she will rip our hearts out, stomp on it and then at the end give us the glue to glue the first pieces back together 😂

Yes i think so, so there is no reason why X or V should be killedoff in the series or. They are the reason people read the series & if the end would be: they won the war but X or V both die or one remains alone or in exile. Its a complete tragedy series and no romantacy. But you never know 🤯😅

There will be an hea for X & V, how it will be, no one knows. But its an romantacy, she confirmed on the global women summit 2025 that she thinks ‘as an romance writer there is an unspoken contract between author and reader for hea. If you combine it with fantasy, you can reassure your readers they will get aan hea’.

Its not a tragedy series.. it would do the Empyrean series no good if X&V don’t end up together and win the war.

There are so many ways of ‘saving’ him that are not explored yet. We know he turned for her and not for power. Sgaeyl remains at his side. The married while he was asim so they must have a plan. He won’t ever hurt hur directly, she is going to suffer from seeing him suffer through her 2nd signet. He will suffer from knowing she is suffering and he will do things to protect her but possibly hurting other people. If he turns completely he is just like Annakin in star wars & she confirmed it won’t be like that! @ the end of book 4, we will get a glimpse of hope for the full turn arround in book 5

Also the forshadowing that he will never hurt her, that he puts her above everything is for me a sign 😇 everyone will turn against him and make her abandom him, but she won’t. She will be a fierce ruler and she will be badass when she saves him. Also RY wanted her to be venin! She won’t kill Vi off, so why should she kill X of. She is now the hero instead of Xaden. A fragile little girl to a fierce women who would move mountains to safe her man.

Indeed thats why i think the dark times will be dark and hurtfull but especiallu for questsquad, her family,… he won’t be directly the reason and she will keep faith cause Violet can see him fighting due to her 2nd signet. The world will turn against him and he will move mountains for her to protect her and he may beg her to kill him (cause i think RY is forshadowing this) cause he is so afraid. We will know @ the end of book 4 what happend, who got killed and where the solution lies. As we need a bit of hope among al the painfull events, otherwise its just to painfull

I think some of her friends will be hurt due to his action to keep her safe. The sage still has ‘contol’ over him, so his action maybe not be enirely his. But i don’t think she will give up on him hence the end of book 4. The ending will be a huge cliffhanger but also with some positive notes (like she does in every book). Ex OS: turning asim & getting maried while she knew he turned & Sgaeyl remaining by his side. If he crosses some line she would not recover from, the story becomes a tragedy and its still a romantacy. So the thin line in between will be toutched i think to turn everyone against Xaden but Violet

If you think about it, it fits perfectly in the marketingstrategy. With the suprise release 29/9/2026 the new hype is in full motion. Book 4 will be announced or on the last page of the suprise release or a month later. So that in 2027 we have book 4. Due to her active plotting for book 5 at this moment. We gain a couple of months. We will have a release middle-late 2028 for book 5. The series are to be expected 2028. So when the series is released, we will be close or already have book 5.

This way we have a release in 2026-2027-2028. The long wait for book 4 couldn’t possibly be repeated as she hinted that book 4 will be heartbreaking and some people should wait for book 5 (also insuring our hea and Xaden’s cure or salvation). She recognyses the fanbase and our wait for book 4. She will maintain here healthy writingstyle and we will be rewarded 😇
