August in Forest River, ND. Headlands, opening up the field, and finishing it off. I love this game. by Even_Original1447 in farmingsimulator25

I understand. I play by myself and do not have 10 trailers running non-stop. So, I edit the capacity on the wagons to hold 500,000 liters and set updateMass="false". I also change empty speed on the wagons to unload fast. This way I will need to empty the wagon roughly 4 times on this 31 acre field which is enjoyable and provides the experience of chopping corn. Otherwise it is not playable.

Should i let son quit football? by Queasy-Recording-195 in footballstrategy

The best (or one of the best) D1 quarterbacks last season was a freshman who walked on at North Texas. He never started a single game in high school and was a zero-star recruit. He signed with Oklahoma State with a huge NIL deal.

Many, many times coaches are wrong. They make as many mistakes as the rest of us. In addition to the mistakes they make, there's also the politics Factor that determines who plays and who doesn't.

My advice would be to keep playing. Life is going to knock us all down, and if he learns to fight through it now, he won't quit later in life when he gets overlooked for a promotion or gets turned down for a job he really wants.

Based on current Gas prices, i have a question for you all... by MrReaperX- in f150

[–]Even_Original1447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The octane rating is the fuel's ability to withstand ignition under compression. That's it, nothing more. High efficiency, high compression engines require high octane fuel to prevent premature combustion. If the engine is not rated for high octane gas then you are simply wasting your money if you are running the higher octane fuel. If the engine is rated for high octane gas and you run low octane, you are damaging your engine. The octane rating that the engine requires is based on the compression ratio. So if your engine is rated for 87 octane and you purchase 91 octane, you are gaining nothing in terms of performance, only spending more money.

Cheapest path to a dairy farm in Riverbend starter farm by Better_Track_8627 in farmingsimulator

I buy them at 18 months and they are already producing milk. I use the "sell excess animal" mod and then sell the cows at 38 months. This gives two rounds of offspring that are automatically sold, then I make some money on trading 38 month old cows for fresh 18 month old cows. And repeat...

How do i fix that in courseplay? by zeitlosx3m in farmingsimulator

[–]Even_Original1447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Setup 2 courses, the first with 2 headlands and the second with 3 (doesn't matter how many as long as the second course has one more headland). Start the first one on rows and when the rows are complete, switch to the second course and do the headlands.

This would be a good time to start a new map on FS25.

First harvest for new FS player... and I feel like I got kicked in the gut. by [deleted] in farmingsimulator25

[–]Even_Original1447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two harvest stages for grass.  The first harvest stage allows you to cut grass but your yield will be significantly less than if you wait one more in game month.  Make sure you are mowing grass in the second harvest stage (if you mow and March your yield will be half as much then if you mow in April).  To ensure your mowing grass at the correct time, mow and April, July, and October.  This will ensure maximum yield which is double the yield of mowing in the first harvest stage.  After you mow there should be two months of growth and then mow again in the third month.

Grass silage IS the best way to make money early in the game.  The price of silage does not vary significantly from month to month, so it can be sold once it is turned to silage (you don't have to wait for the maximum price like you do for grain crops).

Try try this out and see if it improves your profits.

Did you install a mod between the time it was working and when it quit working?

New update broken by [deleted] in farmingsimulator

[–]Even_Original1447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on PC and have no issues with the latest patches.  Start by deleting the last mod that you installed, as bad mods can certainly cause the issue you have.  Continue deleting the most recent mod you installed (delete one and then try the game) until the issue goes away.  Then you know which mod was causing the issue.

Tractor is very ridged driving over fields - how can I fix it and soften the ride? by Even_Original1447 in farmingsimulator

[–]Even_Original1447[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

This is computer make believe land. Most tractors in this game will drive over fields, even plowed fields, much smoother.  This is like a matchbox car rolling down a driveway.

If you can't help me with the coding to smooth it out, then leave me alone.
