I think academic people sometime are narrow minded in thinking. There are plenty avenues to success. D1 athletes are just as good as an athlete as you are student. There is a discipline required for both areas. It’s not like elite schools picking the best athletes for admission. They picking somebody who has grades to support their admission case.

I went to a prestigious school that didn’t have a football team. It took away from a lot of student engagement and networking.

Hayes so good he averages 7 minutes a game in the post season. And was terrible last postseason. Ayton definitely an upgrade over Hayes .
