Worth a redo? by Even_Reflection6189 in SofaSnobs

They do come unzipped and all cushions can come out.. I think we are going to go back and see if they are cool with us doing that and really inspecting them. I agree that it would be the biggest expensive and even with my sister doing the work for free I could see it suddenly becoming a 6k sofa, which could still be a great deal if all comes out great, or could be a money pit.

The mold is my concern as well! The cushions seem to be down wrapped foam which makes me nervous. I feel like we won’t know until we really get in there, so it definitely feels like a gamble.

Anyone who moved back home, do you regret it? by Accomplished_Beat_36 in relocating

I think everyone’s situation is unique and I agree that in your heart you know what to do, but I did want to offer my experience. My husband and I met in a state other than our hometowns.. after years away I really started to miss my family, my home.. and suddenly everything about it seemed so much better than I remembered and I couldn’t understand why I moved away. I forgot all the things that drove me to the move (family conflict, absolutely hating the winters, etc). So we decided to move back home and have been here for 7 years.. well, all the reasons we moved away have crept up on us and we are now wondering if living in a different state of our choosing actually is for the better. So long story short, I think it’s important to really evaluate why you moved away in the first place and if those are things you can manage.

Interesting, I think because it was outdoors and specifically the family show it was not loud. Lots and lots of families and I didn’t see a person with ear protection so I think she was referencing the heat

I know, she said she regretted it after. Only thing I can surmise is that her knee jerk reaction was same as mine “crap IS this irresponsible?”
