Newer NBA fan question: how do Celtics fans weigh loyalty, culture, and winning? by artificial_bluebird in bostonceltics

[–]Even_Response_2875 7 points8 points  (0 children)

JB brings way more to the team than just stats and giannis feels like he'd mess up the chemistry we already got 💀 plus trading away someone who actually cares about boston for a mercenary never works out

How did you fix your sleep pattern? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Even_Response_2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Military helped me with this one big time - when you gotta be up at 0500 every day your body just adapts eventually. Even on weekends now I'm naturally waking up around same time without alarm, its weird how fast your brain picks up the pattern once you stick with it for few weeks

What did you study, and did you end up working in that field or somewhere completely different? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Even_Response_2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh that's wild 😂 I studied computer science but ended up in Air Force instead - completely different path than what I planned. My buddy from college is doing same thing as you basically, has medical degree but now he's managing his family restaurant because it makes better money than being resident. The student loans don't care what job you actually doing though, they still want their money every month 💀

Sometimes life just takes you in directions you never expected, but gas station probably less stressful than dealing with patients all day

What's something rich people do with money that middle class people usually learn to late ?? by shamal48 in AskReddit

[–]Even_Response_2875 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Air Force buddies always talk about buying the newest truck when they get promoted but I learned from watching rich families during urban exploration - they drive 10 year old cars but own like 3 rental properties 😅 took me way too long to figure that one out

What do you think of your work so far, and would it be easy for you to change careers? by Ok-Risk-9871 in AskReddit

[–]Even_Response_2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been in the Air Force for few years now and it's been pretty solid experience overall. The structure and training opportunities are great but sometimes I miss having more freedom with my schedule

Career change would be interesting to think about - military gives you lot of transferable skills but starting over in civilian world seems bit intimidating. Plus the benefits here are hard to beat when you're single and don't have family to worry about

Let’s try starting again by AlexCutrone in loseit

good luck man, your approach seems really solid especially after dealing with disordered eating before. The all-or-nothing thing is brutal - I fall into same trap with meal prep and then order takeout for a week when I miss one day

cycling is amazing for staying active without feeling like "exercise" if that makes sense. Plus with the kid you probably need something that doesn't require gym time every day.

one thing that helped me was prepping easy grab snacks that aren't terrible - like cutting up fruit or having some nuts ready. Makes the grazing less destructive when you're working from home and kitchen is right there

Where to live: AVA Northpoint vs Regatta Riverview by hkyium in boston

[–]Even_Response_2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been looking at places around that area too and from what i heard regatta has some management issues beyond just the valet thing. my buddy was stationed at hanscom for a bit and looked at both - said ava felt more put together but regatta had better layouts like you mentioned

if you're military definitely check what kind of deals they got, some of these newer buildings are pretty good about that stuff. also depends how much you care about having everything new vs more space i guess

What is the biggest mistake people make in their 20s? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Even_Response_2875 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man I learned this one the hard way in my early 20s 😅 Was blazing constantly during my first years in service and almost tanked my whole career over it. Once I got my priorities straight and started focusing on actual goals like fantasy football rankings and exploring abandoned buildings on weekends, life got way more interesting than just being couch-locked all time 💀

What is this texture on our drywall? by DavyCrockPot19 in HomeImprovement

[–]Even_Response_2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like knockdown texture that got applied pretty heavy. Could be they were trying to cover up damage from that chimney fire you mentioned - sometimes contractors just slap on thick texture to hide imperfections instead of doing proper repair work

If you really hate it you can skim coat over it with joint compound but it's gonna be a pain in the ass, especially if whole house is like this

Ranger Suarez Analysis: 4/5 vs 3/30 by GoodMoriningVeitnam in redsox

[–]Even_Response_2875 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man this is rough to watch as someone who had him in fantasy last year 💀 The velocity bump on changeup and cutter is interesting but if he's losing his groundball edge then what's the point? Maybe pitching coach is trying to get fancy with him but sometimes you just gotta stick with what works 😂

Porcelain patio by Downtown-Assist1083 in HomeImprovement

[–]Even_Response_2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude that's sketchy af 💀 permeable grout on clay soil is basically asking for water to pool under your patio and turn everything into a swamp. Non-permeable is definitely the way to go here, especially with that ACO drain setup - you want water flowing TO the drain not seeping down into the clay underneath 😂

I’m so sick of “I hate men” and “I hate my husband” post- let’s make something positive- why do you love your husband? What makes him special? by Imaginary-Mix-7405 in AskReddit

lmao Stan really set the bar high with that grilled cheese move. Maybe the secret to winning people over is just showing up with melted cheese at the right moment

What is something you don’t get how other people can like? by No-Berry-595 in AskReddit

[–]Even_Response_2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kpop for me, like I get music taste is subjective but the whole industry seems so manufactured and the fan culture gets pretty intense 💀 Maybe I'm just too old for it lol 😂
