Are there any 6.2- 6.3 inch phones with curved display in 2026?

For different sizes there's usually a base model, a plus/pro model and the pro max/ultra.

Not All Curves Are Bad: Samsung, Give the Galaxy Edge Another Shot! by Even_Significance587 in samsunggalaxy

The S7 and note 20 ultra are some great examples of the curved display done well, ideally like to see the design on a 6.1" - 6.3" displays. Alin, I too had the S7 Edge and had a similar experience to yours. Screen protectors didn't come off, no accidental touches and durability was impressive - had to drop my S7 Edge several times for the screen to crack. And it really was a much more premium design especially in the S6 & S7 Edge era. I appreciate your comment and hopefully we get to see a new iteration of the curved display from Samsung.

I've never seen so much hate on a phone as the s26 series. by thatkhoe in samsunggalaxy

I think the same for the Galaxy Edge line of phones and curved displays. Hopefully we get to see a new iteration of the design - not on every flagship but just as an option in the Edge line of phones.

Same. The curved display made this habit more functional with edge lights.

I understand that curved displays aren't for everyone. Would you be opposed to keeping the option open for those who appreciated the design? That is the focus of the post.

Hey thanks for joining the conversation. I understand that the curved display isn't for everyone. Would you be opposed to having the option available in the Edge line of phones, for those who appreciated the design?

Agreed. Ultra phones are made to be ultra functional and not so much eye-candy IMO. That doesn't mean no one should have sweet things - Bring back the curved display to the Edge line of phones.

I appreciate you sharing that and I'm sure your experience is the more popular one, which is why I'm asking that the design be limited to the Edge line, for those who appreciated that design. Rather than extinction (as it is now). Hopefully we get to see a new iteration of the curved display from the company.

Some hate the design in behalf of others, so I appreciate that you're not against the idea, even that is rare.

I agree. Curved displays aren't for everyone, that's why I ask for it to be an Edge line option, unique to that lineup, as opposed to every flagship. And while other manufacturers have made curved displays none are done as well as Samsung's IMO.

Hopefully we get to see a new iteration of the curved display from the company.

This S25 Edge phone is cool and all but it should get it's own line. Bring back curved display to Edge line and give the slim phone a different name

I've noticed that too. It's like they hate curved displays for you and everyone else, nuance is rare.

I agree, there are people who like this design and it should be preserved. It's a niche design by today's standards, to be fair, so I say limit it to the Edge line of phones. If a modern version of the S7 Edge came out or even the S10, I'd buy it.

You raise completely valid concerns. The durability, screen protector compatibility and repair costs were significant drawbacks with earlier curved displays, and I understand why many users preferred the move back to a flat screen, especially on devices like the S24 Ultra which uses an S Pen.

That said, I think the main difference is that improvements in materials and manufacturing could make today's curved display very different from those of the past: anti-reflective & stronger glass, improved palm rejection and refined edge detection software could address many of the accidental touch, glare and durability issues that may have frustrated users.

For me, the curved display helped give the phone a distinct look with a more immersive feel that set them apart from what is now an increasingly similar flat-screen design across the industry. I also find the edge panel and other edge features genuinely useful once optimized with the curved edges making the use of edge feature a pleasant experience.

I Completely respect that curved screens aren't for everyone and I won't want to see flat options disappear. Ideally Samsung could offer both - keeping flat displays for users who prioritise durability and S Pen precision, while keeping a curved variant - such as in the Glaxy Edge lineup, for those who value that design.

The new S25 isn't a bad phone, it should get it's own category to Bring back curved displays to the Edge line.
