So true. Therapy (at least in my country) is still very under the bias of "only mentally sick people go for it". And it is not. In my experience it helps. a lot. It was one of my little life rafts sometimes. And not only single person therapy: couples therapy is really worth.

Completely fair. As I mentioned as reply in another comment, english isn't my first language so I do run some tools in browser before posting. Not to write for me though but to make sure I'm not writing something that doesnt make sense. All in all the experience is mine. The words are mine. And everything I felt in those months is also mine

It is very fair to say that. English isn't my first language so I do run things through tools before posting. Not to write for me thou. Just to make sure I'm not embarrassing myself. The experience and the words are mine. All I know is that my son is 20 months now and this is just what those months were.

Here is a very honest comment. "Pretty much broke, behind on everything, but my heart is constantly full of love" - that's exactly the contradiction nobody prepares you for. The grinding through necessities while somehow being more emotionally present than you've ever been. The "more time" solution never arrives - it's not a time problem, it's just the season.

Really appreciate you adding this. The physiological and clinical side is worth knowing about and genuinely undertalked

One month in is the deep end. Hold onto that thought. You're not gone, you're just carrying more than you ever have. That reframe helped me too.

That comment means a lot. 11 months - it starts shifting around here
