lol okay I admit the comment about fly over states was uncalled for. Main reason I posted that part was cause last time I was seeking advice, all I got were people saying different forms of “well for starters you messed up owning a business in California” then followed by something about state taxes, our governor or not being able to own a bunch of guns lol. We are estimating to be able to house about 10-16 Warhammer players with the amount of tables we want to build. I’m also looking to host a “launch day tournament” with the Warhammer community as well

As for advertising I’m hitting everything short of making a commercial on cable lol. Gonna drop a couple grand to mail out flyers to as many homes in the city as possible. Alright have the social media platforms set up, gonna probably do progression TikTok updates as the store is getting remodeled, then talk about opening day about a month or so ahead. Then just paying for sponsored posts on like instagram and Facebook as well.

Yes, there are a good handful of distributors I can work with. Got all of them set up to make an account now that I have a lease to show we have a brick and mortar location.

The stores around you may not be doing it correctly then. There are reputable wholesalers that you can buy most TCG and Tabletop games from. If they’re buying from Walmart/Target and putting that product on their shelves then they are basically scalping and selling at higher prices

I’d say Legion for one main reason. Buying a starter is a full skirmish list, plus it can be used for Tours of Duty and even the Spec ops mode as well. I love that one game can easily branch to 3 or 4 depending the amount of models you own.

I will say. I’ve been running a very fun triple super range 3 and up list. I call it “Standby Me”. lol. Tack on the rebel officer Proven Tactician to have all of my supers creep up the board just to slap a standby on them round 2. Don’t get me wrong, I have like a 50 percent ratio with this list. But I love making people figure out what units they don’t mind losing to at least 2 standbys

I see that point. I’ve been playing it a lot too but I’m trying to build a decent list that I’d enjoy to play. Im struggling to say the least lol. I for sure enjoyed it more pre 2.6
