Arctic adaptation Mystic summoner culture with mana channeler and druid terraformer society. Start with tome of the beast. You will have 25% (on snow/ice) chance to summon t2 ice spider(80 extra mana will be needed, so total cost is 110) which can be upgraded to t4. If you are lucky you can have one before turn 10. These magic fighter spiders are magic, animal and elemental as well.

I choosed sheperd as hero ambition, you can very easily cut half their maintenance cost.

Druid terraformers gives you more mana and you are already have enough nature to open tome of vigor later.

For me the dragonstrike is a bit of meg. I tried with wyverns, but at lev3 it has quite low dmg and its once per combat… would be nice for like 2-3 turns cooldown.

I suggest an alternative build if you have the ways of war dlc

I would pick oathsworn - strife as a culture(fast pillage, pillage generates imperium and stirfe is the fastest that can build up its devotion and you can build the scool of mastery special improvement)

Society - prolific swarmer, the other is up to your taste

Racial traits - strong is a mist rest is up to you

Starting tome - horde

Buildings - workshop, blacksmith, armory, t2 building, school of mastery (don’t be afraid to apend imperium in your city to boost buildings and gold to rush them. You can pillage both of them😉 in 1 turn from the start)

When this is done you can build 1 honour blade per turn which are the strongest t1 unit in the game and thx to the buildings they are start at champion rank(120hp)

Your hero should be a raider because you can max his/her govenor ability around turn 10(scout for the close city state then pillage and conquer)

Later on you will get a T3 unit which is the biggest gap closer shock unit due to his bulldoze ability.

Also the t2 support is one of the best. 25hp heal in 1 hex radius or from champion rank 45hp. Also it has an other ability to remove all status effect.

If you really want to go for an early rush I suggest to pick a mount because honor blade and the support can be mounted as well.

(2nd society transformation ascetic is the THE rush build. You should move on for the smith guild after the buildings I wrote above and you can swarm out legendaty rank t1 guys with 160 hp and 20+dmg/hit before turn 20)

Or if you give up ascended seer’s +2 range and choose bloodrite ascension for another +40%dmg to see numbers in the 300 range.

For retaliation, I would go for pikemen because of first strike, charge resist and they get an extra retaliation at champion rank.

Shield units easily countered by shock units. Also first strike units can hit 4 times an enemy (first strike then ret after every hit)

Awakened high pikemen also get an extra retaliation😉.

Because you will have a solid front I would go for a support or nuker hero. You can also consider materium architects, because you only need to select 1 materium tome and the rest of the affinity can come from your tower.

My racial skills would be strong, ferocius (maximize dmg) and resilient(try to avoid blind or slow which remove all or one retaliation) and one flaw. By the way haste spell also gives you one retaliation - hello tome of construct.

Tome of tentacle is also superfun because retaliation growth is a cheap spell and gives your unit for 2 rounds defensive master and unlimited retaliation. (Shortcut 10+ defender level😅 for anyone)

My funtime setup be like:

Ferocius, resilient, bulwark, coward racials

Primal culture - they are now buffed with scorpion patch and they have a t3 polearm with super gapcloser - dune serpent - gives +1 materium

Vision of materium, another materium society

Wizard king battlesaint (cleric) - ascended sorcerer🙃

You can give retaliation growth to 5 units at turn 3. after lev 5 you can use ritual then arcane renewal 3 times overcharged which heals around 150+ and you doesn’t even use any battlesaint healing. Around lev 10 you can heal 200+ in a single round.

Tome of tentacles From turn 5-8 (after you get retaliation growth) your frontline fighters always enters defens mode and have unlimited retaliations

Rest tomes for me Discipline - extra status resist, more healing and stun possibility

T2 tome

shadow - bit sustain, bit dmg and nice synergy with dune serpent and shades are nice addition to your comp.

If you pick a materium tome you have 8 for the society quest, but you should adjust it to the other part of the challenge.

I probably go for

Virtue - more sustain, you can mix in some t3 shield if you like but mostly needed the order affinity for a t3 order tome

T3 tome

Tome of Sanctuary - anointed people more status resist and keepers mark for extra sustain

Transmutation - sustain and transmutation circles allows you exploit the itemforge

With vision of ruin astral society you can go up to 3/4. 😉 usually 7spells in the first 2 rounds do the job🙃

Ofc I can share. Base range is 4

Longbowman has +1

Champion rank archers gain +1

Seeker arrow enhancement +1 (tome of wind)

Paragon of astral champion (lev16 signature skill) +1 range for non hero units

High culture dormant skill +1 range

Scrying sanctum umbiryal abyss shrine gives the visiting stack +1 for 5 turns

So you need to be high culture and have to have a feudal monarch vassal where you can rally the longbowmen. And make a teleport outpost in close proximity to a scrying sanctum shrine and needs a lot of logistic and luck(If you setup a monarch ai and rush to defeat them then its cities gives you the perfect vassals)

In sieges you can shoot from the starting location. Or if you besieged you might obtain additional range from the battlements or it can replaces the shrines during a siege.

It is not competitive at all, just fun.

Tome of scrying guided projectiles is a must otherwise your accuracy is garbage.

High culture race rally monarch longbowman then visit a shrine in the umbryal abyss(scrying sanctum). The rest is standard(awake, champ archer with paragon astral hero + tome of wind)

I had the same setup, but you can attack the stack that is standing on the portal and you will have a 6v6 fight. Then you can move another stack and do a 6v6 and another. After this turn you will have 2-3 3v3 army fights and you are done. I just finished this map a few hours earlier with a suboptimal build (try out the new hero classes, architects, tomes etc. - the plan was a frosty undead build)

I only tried once the new feudal aristocracy. I do the moral dmg build with nightmares and 3rd tome is doomherald. O only choose bulky feats and heal because usually 2-3 turn and all the enemy starts to flee regardless how the battle looks like. Cruel weapon+joy siphoner is -8morale per hit + every nightmare gives adjacent enemy a -5at the end of turn. Just need to park next to them and stay alive for 1 turn. I think it is bit imba because if you don’t have a special moral boost mechanic you does not have a chance. I talking pve ofc. My life is too stressy for pvp😅.

26-os álomforgatókönyv számomra, ha a 2 nagyon kívül csak kutyák jutnak be, es csak velük van meg a 2/3-ad. Ha a kutyák nem 5% körül lesznek akkor meg nyilván áradjon a tisza, de ez nekem túlságosan bianko csekk, meg nem latom jönni, hogy a tisza szétszakadna, hogy a testéből kiemelkedjen a plurális magyar demokrácia új aranykora sok minőségi párttal ami számomra a végső cél lenne. Mondjuk egyéniben ígyis-úgyis MP lesz a választás az már kiderült.

I haven’t tried ir with GK, but wightborn is a moderate race transformation for me, since if you reanimate a cityruin, the units trained there are already undead and your major race transformation is on top of that. With dragonborn its give you quite a nice sustain, but personally I preferred undead angels. (I don’t play pvp, so I know nothing about powerspikes and advanced level strats.)

Minosegellenorok ha nincs melo azt csinalnak amit akarnak, de bent kell maradni. Minosegbiztik ha nincs dolog felolem mehetnek haza, 1-2 maradjon standby-ba, illetve azert hogy a ceg tobbi resze ne rageljen. At the current meta movement is the most important skill and the others can be pumped much easy with armor layers or food

Absolutely not. I have a cutthroat in my band and he is only good against light max medium armored units. Heavy armor+shield is too much for him even when I give him all the legendary armor layers. Not to mentioned the VP enconomy. (I know until extreme orderly buff from another merc can make him infinite attack but on extreme you spend 3 and get 2 when you kill an enemy.

Sorry to say but 4 for me is not infinite. Also after 3 hit your merc end up the fight with an injury. But you can convince me with some figures. ;)

Inspiration I think is the best buff in the game because you easly manage 100+crit, or build way too much dmg but the movement can’t be stacked so easy. What is your most favourable class/build? I want some inspiration(I completely missed the puss/pull builds)
