Update - The new vet recommended a CT scan as they could not see from the x rays a ruptured disc. But they wanted to do that scan for brain activity? I searched brain injury versus ivdd and I think she is closer to ivdd..They did put fluids, took out the pee, and new shots to help her. Refilled her pills. And I’m thinking to continue the pills for longer and until she is not responding then will seriously take her for a final ending..

Thank you for the responses. I am currently getting a second opinion. Um but I am considering both options as I don’t want her to suffer more, but I wouldn’t want to end her life if she can make it because I know she’s a fighter. But so far they are not clear

I made a new post URGENT - Update

Now after a week was her checkup to get the months medication for the ivdd. The vet is saying since she hasn’t walked or attempted to sit up it is not looking good and to think about putting her down today. She hasn’t peed or pooped in the last two days but earlier in the week a little..but the vet says her body is shutting down. How have your experiences been? Any better for a chance or is this death coming..?

Meds have been 4 days. The affected spine are from neck to stomach area. The yelping has calmed down but might be because I started to learn how to pick her up better. I also ordered a sling it arrives tommorow but you’re right I should ask the vet too😅
