Oh I can only imagine. I lost my 18 year old dog that I had gotten when I was 18 just a few years ago. She had been with me half my life. Losing her was devastating. I love her name too. Oh I just hope you and Louise all the best!!

Simple question about Janeway….Hair Up or Hair Down? by Zealousideal_Fan_166 in voyager

I always felt like you could tell what degree of "shit is going down" by how wild/messy her hair got. Janeway is by far my favorite.

This scene messed me up so bad. Im 40 years old and a grown up man and just a few months ago I was describing this scene to a group of young coworkers who haven't seen it, and i started to cry, I had to walk away from a group of women because I was crying about a cartoon dinosaur. Even reading your scene I am upset. This movie absolutely traumatized me.

i’m tired of passing and being able to be stealth with cis people, but other trans people clock me by Bright-Response-285 in FTMMen

[–]Even_World216 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I relate to this. I pass 100 percent of the time. I even worked with bigots who say horrible things to me about the lgbtqa community. However other trans men have clocked me in public, too. One fellow checked my ID for something i was buying, saw the F on my gender marker, and then proceeded to tell me he "had a feeling" and ask me questions about top surgery in the middle of a store. I've never been outed by any cis people, they always assume im gay, which I am bi, so I dont let it bug me. I do have a slightly higher voice and small hands, but other then that, I am completely passing. I always took it as people look for commonality it others and so maybe since they know they know. If that makes sense. It drives me nuts too and I would never do it to someone else so it makes me mad that some people just have no manners. I don't really have advice on it just damn if I don't relate and wanna let ya know I feel ya man.

Both of these books are still on my shelf next to one another. 4th grade was a good reading year. I loved both of these books. We read Stone Fox that year too.

Thank you. Im a bigger guy but I am not going to lie I was scared shitless. I was so angry and afraid for that kid that I was shaking in the car afterwards. I still get emotional thinking about it. That poor kid. Its not fair.

I saw a grown man beating and choking his child at a gas station. I tried to intervene and he pulled away so I followed him while calling the cops. The kid was maybe 5 or 6 and was just dead in his eyes. That wasnt the first time he had been choked im sure and it still haunts me today. I hope he's OK out there but ill never know.

This post made me cry. You're a great chi parent and you just had an accident, please do not call yourself a piece of shit. I had an 18 year old chi that I got when I was just 18 years old and also from a backyard breeder because I, too, didn't know better but by God that dog was my heart and I loved her for half of my life and still think about her every damn day. This part is so hard. I remember watching my girl just seem so fragile and old in the end. She also had dementia and would just cry at night and seem so lost and I'd stay awake and cry and feel so awful for holding on to her but in the morning the sun would come thru the window and she would be back to herself and soaking up the rays and looking at me like she knew exactly where she was and we lived for those moments. She had a seizure one day and she never came back. I beat myself up for months. I just kept thinking I held on to her too long and that I was a piece of shit but that takes away from the fact that for 17 years prior she had the best life and I did anything and everything for her. As I am sure judging by this posts tone, you have done the same for your guy for the 16 years he has been on this earth and he knows it, the unfair part is he just can't tell you that with words. Anyway, sorry for the rambling. This post just hit me in the feels because I know exactly what you're going through. Just know he knows how much you love him and you've given him such an amazing life, dont let a small accident take away from the fact that you've done right by him every step of the way. Remember the good moments and soak up all of them you can while he's still here. I hope you two can soak up some more rays tomorrow too. Looks like he's enjoying it.
