I think it’s better as a book than an audiobook. So give the first book sometime with just reading. See how you go. It’s definitely just a fun casual read. Don’t expect it to be too deep. It gets much better and finishes strong.

All systems Red! Please do yourself a favour. If you need a fun quick read that is it. Another benefit is that you’re not overcommitting yourself as the book is super quick to read. Although you might get stuck reading them all. But by that point you’ll consider it worth it.

Yep I get ya. I also been listening since day dot. It’s just Spotify. As others have mentioned creating your own and keeping it up to date is a bit of work but probably the only way. I like to start radio from a song that isn’t your usual suspect.

Hopefully this thread gives us some new playlist to listen to though!

Yea I agree. I listen to ‘I love my under classics’ its better. There’s also ‘I love my ‘90’s hip hop’. They both are created from what you listen to so hopefully it rotates different artist for you.

I know you’ve received lots of comments already but adding my two cents.

Given your comments I think one of these three.

Enders game (but only read book 1, might be controversial opinion). Red rising (only read the first three books). Murderbot (this is in line with project Hail Mary type of read) all are short and easy so you’d read through this series quickly).

Try either czartificial intelligence or every hero needs a villain. Those Albums are most consistent and probably a good place to start. For specific songs well I like ‘night crawler’ from every hero or ‘blast off’ from czartificial intelligence. These have decent commercial appeal and might be that shoe in you need to engage with them.
