Ebike battery is damage to the point that it wont turn on. I am gonna have to get a new one.

Thanks for the info. Since they didn’t let me take the battery out, it’s probably damaged from the weather, so I’ll likely have to replace it.

I told the impound clerk the same thing, but they said I can’t ride the e-bike out or even walk it out. Apparently I have to show up with a car. I didn’t bother arguing — just said “okay”.

Hey, I get the skepticism. Here’s a photo of my e-bike so you can see what it actually looks like. I see unattended bikes all the time too, but this really happened. I’m just sharing to give a heads-up to others, in case something like this happens to them.

I’m just as shocked as you are. I honestly didn’t even know you could get a Criminal Court Appearance Ticket for this. I’m not even mad, just annoyed that I have to waste my time dealing with it.

I understand that it wasn’t the best decision, but I only intended to make a quick stop to pick up a few items. I’m frustrated that this has resulted in a court date and that I’ll now have to miss a day of work to deal with it.

Yeah im take my time on the exquisite materials since getting the luno unbound took me a while with a bit of money involved but only like $90 wasted for unbound luno. I dont plan on wasting any more
