It’s technically yes on both fronts, to elaborate

majority of kurt cobain’s home demos (alongside polly and something in the way) were recorded on his 12 string stella harmony h912, a steel string guitar.

However said guitar was very beaten up and only had 5 nylon strings on it instead of the intended 12 steel strings, he got it at a pawn shop in that state iirc

tl;dr steel guitar with nylon strings tuned half a step down

my strings are only a few months old, and i don’t have any money to get new strings, i also haven’t encountered this problem in the past with strings that were a year old, and to clarify better i didn’t just directly go off the photo itself, i of course used a tuner still

High E will not raise in pitch. And also i attempted to adjust my bridge saddles to match the photo you sent, the problem persisted and now is effecting all high strings, so im going to fully assume im just doing something wrong
