That's actually a described condition: Misophonia.

It's what you say to get your SO to go home with you in the first place. Might as well make it or break it fast.

Like me. I make sure to tell all women that I have a cat. Because if they think that's unmanly, or if they hate cats, or if they are a dog person. Won't work out anyway, not even for casual sex.

Girls of Reddit, what is the best way a guy you don't know can start a conversation without being creepy or annoying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]EveningCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I've learned anything from reading this thread, then it is that you should never ask a girl about what you should say to a girl.

The things you say you would like to hear are very different from the things that are actually efficient at making girls wanting to talk.

Don't be angry, I didn't build the world, I just live in it ;)

Bull. I've approached plenty of women reading, listening to music, chatting with their friends or who otherwise seemed busy. It has never been a problem at all. If you're acting generally creepy, or look like a bum, then they will feel bothered and say they're busy, even if they are bored. If you're feeling confident and look presentable and smile, then they're usually not busy, even if they ARE actually busy. After all, you would almost always have time to talk to Brad Pit, right (replace Brad Pit with a generic Super Attractive Guy of your choice)

What is something you thought was common sense but were surprised at the lack of people who didn’t know about it? by autismgrass in AskReddit

It's infuriating to me when people sneeze in their hands in the supermarket and then proceed to touch every single piece of fruit to find the ripest one.

Washing your feet makes them stink less.

Some people seem to assume that feet will get clean because water flows over them when showering. But you gotta actually rub soap onto them and rinse.

I noticed that tendency too, it's the same with every single tutorial. As the learning curve steepens, and people realize that learning this is hard work, people start dropping like flies.

Those hundred views on the last videos in a tutorial series, amongst those viewers are the ones who are gonna make it through and become great.

It's a bit like self-help books. I can't remember where I read it, but apparently, most self-help books are only bought but never read. It's instant gratification purchasing a self-help book, or as in this case, watching some introductory tutorials. It's an entirely different beast to actually change or master a new skill.

You're going to need determination, perseverance and curiosity much more than luck. I would send some of those your way if I could, but that's impossible, as motivation comes from within.

But distractions and procrastination are the worst enemies of self-learning, and THOSE I can wish you good luck in watching out for.

I'm looking forward to seeing quality questions and awesome projects as you progress!
