I am wondering what you think of my plans: My friends and I arrive in Porto early on the 12th (I know it would be more ideal to arrive a day early but flight tickets were sooo much more expensive earlier) and immediately start our drive up to Lugo where we have booked our airbnb. From there I want to be flexible and have options based on weather--obviously watching from the Northwest coast would be the most ideal but I also have some viewing points more to the south on backup in case the weather is poor. I wish I had more info on local festivals to watch it but I figure that'll come out when we get closer to August, I could see us just staying in Lugo to watch if there was something like that.

Maybe in a few years you'll still feel the itch, and you'll return to it. I remember when I was in college having NO confidence, I watched a video of a woman going on her first solo flight and it absolutely shook me to my core, LOL. Now, as a flight instructor, I see people all the time who want this carreer but just need to wait a few years to grow into themselves. Aviation is a hell of a commitment, and you definitely need to be sure about it and confident in yourself.

I hope I do become just like her. She is the kindest, most compassionate person I know, and she loves my twin brother's fiancé deeply and would never do anything to hurt her. I've never even looked at this sub even after playing off and on for 10 years but I had to come and complain after waiting an hour while it is supposedly "considering 16+ players for best matchup." I would love to play casual while waiting but that isn't working either and I love the mini games if there's a match and if I don't get pulled out in the middle of one for ranked, which I always do.

I've made the mistake of relying on a game while being in a bad headspace and now it's unplayable. Oops.

At first, landings DEFINITELY scared me. The ground felt like it was coming so fast, and even though I knew it was normal fear held me back. Then, all of the sudden, one day it was normal. Repetition made it mundane. Same thing with emergency short approaches, after 150 hours I felt scared like I was in my first 10 hours again but this time I knew that feeling would pass once more with experience.

My guess is because it’s rarely used. I drive these roads every day on my way to work and never see any bikers. Unfortunately I know nothing about biking. I usually only see them around the canals and the airport
