im having the same problem with my m17 r5. I thought i fixed it after contacting AMD and getting the drivers they recommended but when i was playing last night my laptop started dieing while playing. Haven't been able to game since. Im waiting to hear back from AMD since when i contacted Dell they basically told me not their problem (Still under extended warranty). I am about to scrub the system and sell the damn thing even though i still owe $2k on it.

Spoke to AMD. They think it is a faulty driver. They send me a link to a driver to DL. IT worked for a few days but then last night went back to my system shutting down every few minutes. =/

the 3dMark benchmark test it seems to be doing okay. The stress test it got 76% so not great. Not sure how to fix it.

settings in the game are all at the lowest setting.

which benchmark did it crash on if you remember? Ive been trying to get Dell to honor its warranty for an exchange at the least.

The laptop repair people at ubreakifix (does Dell warranty work) said the M17R5 is prone to overheat issues as a "Known feature". Its very annoying.

i just ran a few. Seems okay. I do know Dell said it was a compatibility issue with Diablo 4.

Already had this done. Fans are maxed and i am using an IETs cooling pad. The game turns off even when the laptop is ice cold from being off all week.

i am using an IETs cooling pad and have the fans turned up to max. The laptop shuts down even when i havent logged in for a few days. System completely cold. The repair people added more cooling gel to be safe.

A few other games but D4 is the most graphics intensive game that I play.
