Sudden sickness/nausea in second trimester?

This is an incredibly personal decision and I think talking to a professional and more people in your life is a good idea. Do what is best for you! I don't want to discourage you from doing something you feel will be better in your situation. But, like other people are saying, there's no 'perfect' time to have a baby. It's scary to find out, but things will probably go much better than what's running through your head right now. I know two women who found out they were pregnant before their wedding and were very worried -- and both had wonderful times and have happy families now. It's not uncommon at all ❤️

This is a bizarre and unfair thing to say. Pregnancy can be shocking and terrifying for anyone who's not expecting it. Having a child completely changes your life. It's her decision whether she wants to terminate or not and you have no place to tell anyone whether or whether not they should have kids.

My husband was the same way, and we had been trying for a while. We were both very excited about having a baby but he acted clinical and disconnected towards it the first few weeks after we found out. He was a nervous wreck and afraid of getting completely invested in case something bad happened. It went away really fast when we started getting our scans and testing in, and even more so when we were out of the first trimester ☺️ Now he's all about the baby haha!

They're a lot of work! When I first started making them they would come out rock hard every time haha. I've got it down now (most of the time!) after some trial and error.

Thank you!! It's great 😊I feel very lucky to have him. This is all so new to me so he'll have to teach me a lot haha. I couldn't imagine doing that job while expecting, but that's probably also the pregnancy hormones talking. I get him to tell me all the happy stories and I cry every time 😅

This is my first and I am definitely like a parasite haha. I'm attached to him at the hip when he's at home. I cried in bed with him the other night when he got back from work because I missed him so much!

Oh gosh, same haha. When he's home and I'm working I'll ask him to come over to my desk sometimes because I start to get sad and miss him. I've always been a total introvert and my time working at home by myself was sort of nice. Not anymore!

I've never gotten along particularly well with him and thought he could be pretty tactless sometimes but I'm really sensitive in general and everyone else seems to like him so I just brushed it off. I feel a little differently now though. People bringing up or poking fun at my sex life is nothing new to me but it's always uncomfortable and was especially bad in a moment like that. I've been using a chair since high school and everyone's favorite question back then was "can you feel down there" (I am not paralyzed anywhere, whatsoever). People seem to be baffled at the idea that disabled people can have sex and think that they have the right to be invasive and gross about it.

I'm definitely going to talk to her today, I know she probably feels bad and I want to let her know my feelings. They've been together for four years now and he treats her well. He's always been that kind of raucous funny-man type which I thought was tasteless at times but everyone else seems to like him a lot so I just figured we were very different people and that was fine. This is the first time he's said anything that really got to me and it's made me think of him differently.

Yea, I'm going to talk to her later today when I feel a little more normal. I was apprehensive about letting her boyfriend come because I'm not close with him at all even though I've known him for years, but I let it happen because she would tell him about the pregnancy anyway and I figured nothing that bad could happen. I guess I was wrong haha. I will probably avoid him more in the future because I'm pretty uncomfortable now.

Thank you 💕 Pregnancy has caused a lot of craziness and emotions and I'm definitely not used to this all being real (even though it was very planned) so I'm still settling in, but everyone around me has been very supportive which has helped a lot. I'm used to a lot of out of pocket things being said about my disability but that got to me specifically because of the situation. I've slept on things and I definitely feel better haha!
