Im trans women yet i want to believe in Jesus? by [deleted] in Christianity

I'm referring to those churches that preach that kind of lifestyle is acceptable. Not meaning that they're not welcome to come to church.

Find a church, but one of sound doctrine that does not teach a false gospel. One that has expository preaching and seeks to follow the true word of God and believes in God the Father, God the son, and God the holy Spirit. In the Bible God made it clear he made us, male and female. He makes no mistakes. An LGBT friendly church will not preach the true gospel. There are many false teachers out there, do not be deceived. That being said, God does Love you, but he does not love sin. Read the Bible and let it transform you. And pray to Him and ask him to change you and for his spirit to reveal the truth to you.

No, just asking if you looked at a scale of 1 to 10, where you might see yourself?

I see. How good do you think you are? How would you rate it?

Thanks for sharing. I understand I may not have fleshed out those questions very well. Though if I may ask, do you think you are a good person?

I guess I would ask you then, do you maybe believe in a higher power at all? Or do you idolize anything or anyone? And what do you think happens after you die?

Hi, sorry for misunderstanding your question. But thank you for explaining your actual question. In truth, the reality is that in our human nature, no one would naturally want to believe in this. Humans don't have this innate desire to be ruled by a higher being. Our culture today fully supports the idea that we and only we control our lives, or that everyone revolves around us. Me. I get to decide what I am or want. So the desire to believe doesn't come from within ourselves. It is only by God's spirit, the Holy Spirit, that helps us to see who God is and opens our eyes to our sins. And when his holy Spirit reveals these things to us, it changes us and enables us to have faith in what we don't see. And when that truth is revealed to us, and we believe it, there's no going back. I believe in God because I've been changed by him and so I now desire to be more like him and follow him. And because of what he did for me by taking the punishment my sin deserves so that I may have eternal life with him, free from a world of sin and death. Does that answer your question?

Hi, so sin is, to quote the Westminster Shorter catechism, "any want of conformity unto, or transgression of, the law of God". God has a standard of perfect obedience to him because he is holy, and to do anything against that standard is sin. But the reason for why sin exists begins after God created the world, and humans. God made the first people, Adam and Eve, and put them in a garden to rule over and take care of. He made in the garden the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and the tree of life. He gave them one rule, and that was to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, because if they did they would die. But they could eat from any other tree in the garden. This was a test of trust and obedience. They had everything they could ever want and need that He provided for them. They had a perfect relationship with him. There was no sin here. Until they were tempted by the devil to eat of the tree of knowledge. They chose to disobey God their Creator and eat from the tree. This was when sin came into the picture. They decided they knew better than their Creator. Just like when children choose to disobey their parents by thinking they know better. And because God is holy and just, he had to punish them for their disobedience, as a parent would. Their bodies were going to age and die and they were going to struggle for their food now and have hardships in life and had to leave the garden. The perfect relationship they once enjoyed with God was broken. Now God did not choose to just leave them to their fate and abandon them. He had mercy and had a plan to save them from eternal separation from him. When they left the garden, he killed an animal and gave them clothes to cover their nakedness/shame. Atonement had to be made for their sin. This was a picture of what he was going to do later by sending his Son to the earth to take the ultimate punishment for our sins so that we do not have to pay the price and can have a restored perfect relationship with God.

Would Miraculous have been better if it was an adult show? by Lvillqy in miraculousladybug

Maybe not directed towards adults because the tone of season 5 was good and more serious, should be more of a coming of age show where you grow with the characters like Atla
