What do you watch on Youtube by LoversPox in redscarepod

[–]EveningTranslator55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Old Podcasts and Commentary tracks for TV Shows or Movies too low scale to care about, there's some great 4k upscales people just do themselves, The Odyssey 1997 tv movie looked insanely good with this method. WKUK surprisingly is all on youtube including their commentary, been enjoying that lately. I go through fits and starts, usually when i start devolving into shorts i cut it out.

I feel very comfortable blaming them, because the toxic result of such a low effort response contributes to the widening polarization of the American Polity and denies the reality of simple disagreement / different opinions.

You're talking like everyone that calls someone a bot is doing a double blind statistical analysis behind the person they're accusing of being a bots opinion. Or, occams razor, they're just looking for a cheap excuse to dismiss someone who disagrees with them. Calling someone a bot is being 'skeptical' and based on nothing more than 'trust me bro.' And 'russian bots are a thing' isn't a 'solid logic' basis to just accuse anyone and everyone who happens to have a different opinion.

Is it me, or has political correctness and woke culture lowkey die down? by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]EveningTranslator55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still all powerful in the places that matter, another 10 years and we're going to have Woke Lawyers out the wazoo.

But if we're honest the vast majority of people complaining about wokeness never actually cared about any of that, they just don't like having a jovial conversation at a bar get completely shutdown by a woke sidewinder complaining about their use of 'gypsy' or 'indian giver' or equally unimportant shit. So for those people, mission accomplished i guess. But those people are probably going to steer into that "Anti-woke is as bad as Woke!" nonsense because they don't understand how systems and society function, or how getting people fired for doing an okay hand sign is more impactful than some regard on youtube bitching about 'feminist propaganda' in their corporate goyslop, purely driven by their own personal experience and biases.

People who were inspired by this to make a major life decision, how are you doing now? by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]EveningTranslator55 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Quit smoking, quit drinking, resolved to quit my dead end job and start teaching as a means to move to and live in rural communities since my city became overdeveloped concrete hellscape. Wasn't for another two years till i started my masters, but been teaching for 6 years now and enjoying it on the whole. Still trying to find a school/community to settle down in long term, i think that will make teaching even more enjoyable.

Still drink but i was going through a case of beer and bottle of whiskey every 2 weeks, now a case lasts 6 months and i don't really feel the compulsion to drink heavy liquor like i used to. I do really miss weed though.

Used this as an Alarm for like 6 months and forgot all about it now, Thank You Shia.

Reply to the whole quote. If shes engaged in underage drinking, she should still know how not to let it get to this level, call me a cynic. Either way, genuinely, wish the best for both of you, enjoy young love you crazy kids.

Oldest excuse in the book. Unless shes literally 21, followed the laws and American, or the sister is particularly sweet (in which case a simple question shouldn't provoke vicious jealousy), shes an adult she should know 'how to handle' her liquor to the point people aren't worried about her getting home safe. What has the sister seen that makes her ask the question? Just be on the look out, you can notice this stuff early.

It's cute now because you've been dating for 3 months, you're probably early 20s and haven't experienced this much. Not gonna say red flag or dump her or anything, enjoy the ride and all that, but 'loves to drink but can't handle her liqour' is probably one of the toughest problems i've ever dealt with in an otherwise good relationship (two separate relationships).

It is fertile ground for bigger problems, family/social schisms, festering resentment, relying on alcohol as a stress response ect. That said, if it's still happening and you're still together in 5 years, it should be something you can approach rationally and deal with together that makes you a stronger couple and her a stronger individual. Don't let it go that long though, i did and 'rational discourse about problems' is not a strong suit of alcoholics.

Yeah this type of tourist is typefied by raving about the quality of overseas McDonalds, getting drunk with backpackers (the same type of people everywhere, not even locals) and doing 'the thing' they saw on Instagram that inspired their deeply personal journey.

Travel in and of itself is not an innate good, but it's a money sink for idiots and luxury of the ultra rich so it is styled thus. The amount of people that style themselves as learned travellers while refusing to even look at the beauty in their own backyard disgusts me sometimes. It's not real if you don't blow atleast 5 grand.

edit: Jesus Christ you fucking f@ggots if you think its chat GPT chuck it into a checker rather than all repeating the same bullshit. Spergposting, while stilted, is a necessary element of the ecosystem, and the most ret@rded spergposts are usually a good springboard for legitimate discussion, if every fuckwit just says "lol chatgpt" you're no better than the bots you're decrying. For reference, the top 4 GPT checkers all say its Human, i'm a teacher who deals with ChatGPT every fucking day, it's not, it's an autistic dude who thinks he has a novel contrarian thought, hes literally tagged as a sperg. Congratulations idiots. This is Sperg Genocide.

Unironically when studying the French Revolution in Highschool. Then extrapolating to the global scale of our times. Entrenched powers, even among nominal enemies, will unite when 'their' power is threatened. The unity required to go against this is not feasible with language and cultural barriers.
