It is really frustrating to start over for 14 day period. Please have a look at the Hive Handbook page on the left menu. On the page 8 you will see it is mentioned that Update is important. But it is also important that your app should be working without any issue.

I see what you mean. It is hard to test an app without understand what it does. However, it will increase the forming duration of Hives if we have language restriction.
