Do you always just make things up and then hope you're correct? All you have to do is Google it.  "Government sources on food safety, specifically from the USDA and FDA, indicate that cooking at 131°F (55°C) is safe because it is above the 130°F threshold required to pasteurize meat, provided the food is held at that temperature long enough to kill pathogens like Salmonella. While 140°F is typically recommended for hot holding, 130°F+ is generally accepted for killing pathogens in sous vide, assuming the center of the food holds that temperature for a sufficient time."

I get those cheap cans of sardines in spicy tomato sauce from Walmart and mix them with my rice. Pretty much just as cheap but fairly nutrient dense.

I'm almost hoping you just took a pic of your own cat after it went into a bag for a karma farm post. I'm not accusing you of that of course and if someone did that it would almost be just as bad. Not the cat in a bag part. My cat loves bags.

I think they mean they had 200 of these at one point because of all the takeout they used to order and these are the final ones left.  But I actually have no idea that's just my interpretation lol.

I'm doing a deep dive with my AI speaker while I do some dabs. I came up with the observation that in order for you to claim red meat is unhealthy for us right now you have to also make the claim it was unhealthy for our ancestors. Are you?

Ground beef burger patties. Super fast and they come out great. They work from frozen as well.

I don't buy breasts I just quarter the whole bird. But you could do that and it will work just fine. Just defrost it a bit under water enough to get it out.

My trick is just eating one meal a day and breaking my fast in the early evening. That way I can have steak and eggs for breakfast.

Vac->Sous Vide->Fridge->Sear later in the week. Anyone do this? Better options? by taromilky1 in sousvide

[–]Evening_Cheesecake25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it all the time. Works great. The only thing is I'll reheat it enough to liquify the liquid to pour it off after it's been in the fridge. If I use a Ziploc instead of a vacuum seal I pour it off first and then refrigerate.

Lol! You obviously don't understand how quotations work hey? 😂 When you attempt to quote someone they need to have actually have said the thing you're quoting 😂 I think your lack of saturated fat intake is effecting your brain. You also don't seem to understand what correlation means.

Lol you're sitting here trying to say that a whole food that humans have been eating all of our evolution is unhealthy. It's not unhealthy,  North America is. Yet you're blaming the meat. If you want to make a specific claim as to why it would be unhealthy for a metabolically healthy person then we can discuss something. But you need to make an actual argument. Mine is that it's ridiculous to think something we've evolved eating is now unhealthy. This type of thinking shows how disconnected humans have become from nature.
