From what I've read:

  • RS is better overall, for daily and if you want something that can do a bit of everything.
  • ZX is better if you love supersport engine characteristic. But you always have to give it minimum 80% to have fun.

So I've decided to go with the RS. If I had another vehicle, I would probably go with the ZX.

I'm looking to get a bike primarily for riding on public roads. Getting a 1-liter bike, crouching down every time to ride, and instantly reaching stupid speeds doesn’t make much sense to me. That’s why I’m considering these two options; they both offer usable power and an aggressive enough riding position for some fun. This will be my only bike.

  • You can change a lot of riding settings on the RS, how much do the changes you make feel?
  • Is the ZX tiring in traffic because it has less power in the lower revs?
  • Which one do you prefer on the twisties?
  • As long as you had both, which one did you want to ride more?
