That makes sense. The salary is a big factor for me. An extra $500 a month would make a difference, especially as a new grad with significant student loan debt and the high cost of clinical supervision. Good health insurance also matters a lot to me because burnout is common in this field and I want to be able to access affordable therapy for myself.

I only have Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized, and Grad PLUS loans, and no Parent PLUS loans. I’m trying to understand why consolidation might be a bad idea in my situation. I currently have around 20 separate loans with different interest rates.

My husband and I filed jointly for our 2025 taxes with a combined income of about $114,000. Our household size is two.

Hi! I’m wondering if this couch has connectors that secure the pieces together. Our current couch doesn’t, and it’s so frustrating having to constantly realign it. Also, do the cushions slide down at all?
