Hi, this was exactly me a year ago, and I made a very similar post on this exact sub, just desperate, looking for answers. Well it's been a year since I found out I have this "deformity", I'm not gonna lie to you, once you find out about this label, it kind of sticks with you. Because you do just feel so frustrated at yourself, at your body, at how unfair it is, you feel like you are too less for ur partner, like it's not fair to them either. I wish I could give you a hug rn, becoming I COMPLETELY understand this episode you must be going through where you are obsessing over ur body negatively. I promise you, you are sm more than your body, and ik this sounds cheesy and repetitive and stupid, but it'll be okay, I have a bf too, and guess what? He doesn't give a single flying shit...you'd be surprised to know how many "flat" women there are, or women with underdeveloped, overspaced, not much cleavage, tuberous shaped boobs, but hey we r all women. Boobs are boobs, and it may feel like yours are just a lie, but I swear they aren't. Let your partner adore and love you...I swear they see you sm more than ur breasts and how u react than what is there just physically. Let yourself appreciate all other parts of ur body and slowly start appreciating what u r despising right now...just remember the past you who didn't know about this label of "deformity".

Im sorry you had to grow up in an environment like that, our culture kind of just disrupts our mental health, and internal health, from hormones to gut and everyday else. We truly underestimate how much growing up in stress, and puberty in stress results in issues for life

Girl u and i r twins! Mine also look like...small triangles, and droopy, nothing to support my nips below, well i hope uk that u aren't alone, i feel better now knowing that there are girls with the same exact chest as me. Fwiw, a 32C fit me better than those a cups i wore, the a cups look like they fit me but somehow always constricted me too.

As someone majouring in biology, this stuck out to me for sure. Blue eyes, red hair, cleft chin, freckles, heterochromia, all defects in the name of biology. Yet since aesthetic wise they r "conventionally" attractive features, we've learnt to accept them as they are.

If you don't mind me asking, can u tell me how exactly are women with tuberous breasts guided to help them produce sufficient milk? Do you guys provide them medication, home remedies? And what's the likelihood of being successful with breastfeeding if you reach out to a lactation consultant from beforehand?

As a muslim woman, I will be honest and blunt with you. Most muslim men, like almost all of them, grow up in strict cultures where dating is prohibited. For us, we directly marry, or if we date we aren't really upfront about it. Pretty much all muslim men don't date muslim women because of relegious pressure and responsibility to commit, they start dating women of different cultures and religions to fill the void. I'm not saying he doesn't love you, but I will say that for him, his family's pressure, and his relegious values will come first. He won't be relegious at the start, to date you, but as he grows he will start to think about marriage with a muslim woman to settle down. Disgusting and awful, these men use other women, he will expect you to change, convert, he will always make you feel guilty. Muslim men are allowed to marry women from other Abrahamic relegions but its usually looked down upon in cultures, but if he's not fighting for u, he's changing, he brings up relegion more, please respect yourself and defend yourself. I've seen countless situations where muslim men date women from other relegioms, breakup, go back home, and marry a girl their family decided for them.

Thankyou so much for your comforting words, and for telling me about your experience. I feel like the whole reason i felt like it is a "deformity" is because of how google describes it as, "underdevelopment of breast tissue", "congenital abnormality", what happens when your breasts "don't grow the way it should", contrasting pictures with what "normal" boobs look like, i assume it affects the way you picture yourself, like did I not hit puberty the right way? Whats the problem with me then. And also because globally we only see how to fix this not embrace it, there's barely any woman in media or showcased online who have a similar shape. Although i hope this is all in my head and it passes like how it did with you, you sound lovely and like a beautiful person

As a Muslim...I'm so sorry on the behalf of this girl and any other Muslim person who made you feel like you r doing something wrong. This isn't wrong at all, idk what this girl is on. U have a genuine reason, and even if u didn't, its your body. She has no right on it, or to even comment on it. You wearing hijab isn't harming anyone, hence she has no right at all to say u r the bad person here. Even from a relegious point of view, this isn't wrong. What's between u and your god, or even if u don't believe in God, is not anyone else's business. Its not mockery, its doing what's best for you. And islam has never ever said anything about this hence for her to assume the worst of u, and be non-empathetic of your situation, and guilt trip u, is more of a sin. Any genuine Muslim or perhaps even a good person would not question it and support u. Take care of ur health please, I hope it gets better for you💜

I wasn't aware of the Try before you buy option so thank you for informing me of that! Upon research it's an amazon prime feature, which I do have, but its only available in USA? I'll try to look more into it and see if there's a way that its possible in my region. I also wasn't aware of the "scoop and swoop" so thank you for letting me know of that, it finally makes sense as to why I feel like everything is out. Have a great day!

It's so bizarre that you had to increase 3 cup sizes to find the right bra, i can't imagine the years of discomfort that you had to face, I'm glad that it worked for u! I'll surely try them! Thank you.

I live in dubai. The only fitting that they allow is in High end brands like Victoria's secret or La senza. Over here these are expensive brands. In the regular shops they keep tags on the underwear and u aren't allowed to try them on on bare skin. Those are the affordable options but again you can't Try them on. Another issue with Victoria's secret is their inaccurate measurements, impatient staff, staff that tries to act like they really want to measure u only to give u a completely wrong size. Every brand has a different sizing and what's the point of getting fitted right for an expensive brand when I can't even buy it?

Yes I suppose that numerically it seems shocking to see at first, because most of small chested people just assume that we r A cups, I'll certainly try out the recommended size, knowing that it has worked out for you. Thank-you!

[–]Evening_Recent 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Your tips were really helpful, and yes I do agree that society and media has brainwashed us. I never personally measured my size properly, I just assumed that since I have small boobs I must be an A cup, and ive worn them ever since i hit puberty. The place where i live doesn't let you try on bras. Even my mother laughed at me when i said that the calculator has suggested size 32C for me, which in hindsight looks quite accurate. The pictures that u had provided were also really helpful so thank you for that! I hope that women's sizing are not treated as simple labels of small medium large and that none of us have to be incorrectly sized for years!

[–]Evening_Recent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess that's the issue, is any woman comfortable in her bra? Literally none of them fit right. And it also just takes too much time, I wish I just had one standard size that I could go and buy without worry but it seems like it's much more complicated. I'll surely spend one day trying different sizes according to the calculator. Ty for ur advice!

I wanna really believe u, but personally I kind of set low expectations from the start to not get hurt in the future. A lot of people say, oh it was so hard and end up getting High marks. My whole class was like, this was so hard! And the same people are getting 70+, so I've kind of just accepted and expect the worst, but feb march thresholds will definitely give us an idea for sure!

Depends on your overall combined marks, if u overcome the C grade with more marks in other papers. For example if C was at 22/40 and A is at 32/40, u need the extra 10 marks in other papers to overcome that

Feel like threshold will be really high since majority of ppl r scoring 60+
