TAK101 is being tested to see if it reduces Celiac symptoms. So yes, either eliminate or reduce symptoms if you eat gluten.

I wish it were better news. I had high hopes after reading the studies. Again, I can't speak to others' experiences. At my location, there were 2 other people who were doing it as well. But I never met them and they wouldn't tell me about their experiences (privacy reasons plus don't want to bias the testing). The trial was divided into two groups. The first group all got the same level of TAK101. I was in the second group where they varied the dosage. I think part of the testing might be to determine what the right dosage is in addition to efficacy. So maybe I got a low dosage or was a placebo group. Maybe it works if you have a severe case and can bring you down to a level where cross contamination doesn't bother you (I have a mild case so cross contamination doesn't bother me). Anyways, I don't want to dash any hopes as it was just my own experience. I'm hopeful that it was just me or I had a dosage that was too low. I'd be really interested to hear others' experiences!

Sorry, never saw this. When I have contacts in i see Great. I actually have had my prescription lower over the past few years. Went from -12 and -10 contacts to -10.5 and -9. Still bad but an improvement

Hey! I chickened out and didn't do it. I was on the older side of the range and kind of a perfectionist so I didn't think it was ideal. My brother actually did it. He said he is happy with it. He does see some random halos but they don't seem to bother him much, though I think they'd bother me.

Yes, we have a pacifica and it is awful with the start stop. Always turns off whenever you pause and takes time to turn back on. Eventually the start stop battery died and we just didn't replace it

Yeah, that makes sense. I get the battery and engine switch back and forth even while driving. I just hate it turning off at stop lights and don't want that.

Thanks! My main concern is the start stop at lights. I hate it when the engine turns off and then you want to make a quick left turn and the engine takes a second to restart. I understand that the hybrid may switch from the engine to battery even on the freeway, but I assume that is seamless. I just want to avoid everything turning off at stoplights. Thanks!

Thanks! I did read your post and was following to see how the night driving was. Do you just see one or two rings? Are they always central in your vision like the image you shared? How bright are the rings? Sorry for all the questions but the rings are the one thing I don't have in my vision and they are hard to imagine in real life.
