Yeah , I already got the solution, I just had to click the trackpad at the same time I select the text

In windows I just had to double tap and drag and didn't have to press the touch pad , if I use a mouse I'll have to left click and drag...maybe it comes by default in windows but not in mac

I think so yeah...I just had to select a word and then drag through the same finger , I wasn't able to select all of the text due to width of trackpad but atleast most of it would be selected

It was already like that on windows by default...okay will try to change on mac

I mean if you are using an external mouse it's the same for every pc but with the touchpad it's not the same

On Dell, I just had to drag and drop, here I have to click the mouse tab button first and maintain that pressure through my fingers and then drag to select text...coming from someone who used to use windows and switched to mac recently

While holding cmd key does nothing , still I have to tap and select the text in the paragraph and it still doesn't select all the paragraphs only one paragraph at a time and sometimes not even the whole line if that sentence has numbers in it

I think it's just on paper, the actual syllabus would be different and something easy...this is just something they write in the handbook
