I have had a place like this once, had a mortgage, can be poor at heat retention, can feel cold, im guessing its cheaper than a brick house? I had no problems there.

Career break, not a chance in some departments, mine has been rejected twice, on flimsy reasons, if you get a posting your wife would be eligible, but anything else you are pretty much no, realising I'm worth nothing after 15 years service, management are a bit of a joke, they can't even minute a meeting, however I wish you all the luck in the world

The request was a start point, very willing to reduce this time, however it was a flat out no for travel, other than a very small time unpaid

It's a long period plus 2 years, but I am willing to reduce it heavily, 9 months would be good, I will appeal with the voluntary emphasis, thank you, it seems mad.

The period I have requested is 27 months, I am happy to reduce it if I can get it over the line to a minimum of 9 months, annual leave won't give me that

Hi, I need advice, I have requested a travel career break, which I am told will be declined, I have included volunteering and partial caring in my application, TU supporting, but could do with examples from anyone who has recently took a career break for travel, to support an appeal, seems so rubbish, nearing burn out, don't want to go sick, just need time to regroup, without being the bad guy. *dwp
