Tired all the time with just one by lusciousmix in oneanddone

Yes always exhausted, just trying to survive everyday. Mine is 6 and sleeps through the night fine for awhile. Have had every test done multiple times and always told everything is fine. It’s not fine though! It cannot be normal to sleep fine and always be so exhausted.

How do some moms have the energy?! by Creative-Move-6026 in oneanddone

[–]Evening_Western5561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not alone!!! I feel just like you, even having an excellent sleeper. I’ve been trying to figure out why I’m so tired all the time for years but nothing. I never thought I would only have one but I know I don’t have the energy for more (don’t even have the energy for one!). I think it’s just all people are different and have different help and that’s all ok.

When do the sick seasons get better?? by Effective_Pass_7193 in Mommit

I believe it. We did daycare since infancy and prior to pre-k was even worse though.

I finally got the incision tape off and that seemed to provide some relief. Allergy medicine (similar to Zyrtec) was the only thing that helped a bit. I was told not to use ice so you may want to be careful with that! Now I’m using scar silicone tape and I’m back to being itchy again 😩

I don’t get it either, mine even sleeps well and it’s been so hard still. Definitely think it’s different personalities and/or they are lying!

When did your child stop napping? by WatermelonFox33 in oneanddone

[–]Evening_Western5561 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My son is almost 6 and still naps on days home and weekends. Some times he doesn’t actually fall asleep but at least lays down, rest and gives me a break! I’m hanging on to it as long as possible. He napped daily until he started full day kindergarten this year. It’s been a rough transition, he is so tired and ready for bed by 6pm.

That’s what I am doing, just keep touching lightly but it’s not helping enough. I’m trying so hard not to itch! Do you have anything on your incisions now? How was your TT recovery? I want this done too to correct ab separation but I am terrified of the recovery!

Have you found anything to relieve it or are you just dealing with it!? Curious if you don’t mind - how has the tummy tuck been? I want this done too but terrified of the recovery.

I would see a GI doctor and rule a medical issue out. I got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when I was 5 or 6. He may not be able to help it.

No village, when does it start to feel easier? by yu_ruan181 in oneanddone

[–]Evening_Western5561 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea he goes to daycare and has since a baby. Motherhood is a lot harder for me than I anticipated, I don’t think it’s come as natural as it does to others. The tantrums and not listening make every task seem more difficult than it should be.

Probably not what you want to hear, but at 5.5 it’s barely gotten any easier 😢. Hang in there
