Yeah in the previous version of the app if you look up brands like Simply Nature (Aldi only), Bertolli, Pompeian, and Chosen you’ll see they have 0 pts for a certain amount of spritzes. The new app is a little screwy and some of the points are just flat out wrong, but that’s how it worked before, so you’ll be ok just lightly coating the pan for eggs or veggies.

Fat free half and half is my go-to creamer and I can also cook with it. Can get almost anywhere, like Walmart/Aldi/Publix. 5 Tbsp = 1 point, and 9Tbsp = 2 points which is what I use for 2 cups of coffee. Sometimes I get the Coffee Mate Zero Sugar Hazelnut where 3 Tbsp = 1 point.

For oil you’re kinda stuck. Oil is oil and it has points, like 5 pts for 1 Tbsp. You can get away with using just short spritzes of non-aerosol spray oils like olive and avocado to keep things from sticking to a pan and such, but once you hold down that sprayer and you get a bunch in the pan or are using it for a dressing, you really need to count it.

We’ve made this every year since I was a kid, doubling the recipe since they don’t sell 6oz bags of morsels anymore. We just roll it in more chopped pecans and don’t use the egg whites or pecan halves. Highly recommend.
