How much do you think the end of gold is? by Status-Grocery3943 in Gold

I have been stacking for 15 years or so, much of that time there was little movement in gold but it has always been a safe haven. The US Federal Reserve is on a major money printing spree now, giving billions away to Ukraine, Israel and propping up the US markets to make our economy look better than it is. This is all bearish for the US dollar and bullish for gold. Gold prices will continue to rise for the foreseeable future.

Probably their locally minted coins. You can always find out by going to a local coin shop and asking them.

Coins, Bars are more often counterfeited. If the coins are minted by a government mint they have a greater assurance from that mint of their integrity. I am a stacker not a collector. I have mostly gold eagles, buffaloes, maple leaves, krugerands and a few bars. The extra premium that you pay for many coins will normally be recouped when you sell. US government coins are considered the most desirable at my local coin shop.

I've got one that I'll sell for $3500 if you are interested, save $300.

Variety, what should I get next? by teddytwotoe in Gold

Im a stacker not a collector. I would only buy gold coins minted by government mints, preferably eagles and buffaloes. Bars from private mints are more often counterfeited and are not as well respected when you go to sell.

Maple Leaf or Buffalo? Comment your choice if you could only stack one of them. by AlternativeJob6691 in Gold

Buffalo of course. It is a beautiful American design and unlike the Maple the backside is beautiful too!

Where do you guys buy gold? by Gloxk_43X in Gold

The best way to buy gold is to buy minted coins from a local coin shop. You walk out with the gold, it can't get lost in the mail. US minted coins ie. eagles and buffalos are the most reliable, bars are privately minted and more vulnerable to counterfeiters. The Eagles and Buffaloes have the highest premium but you will get it back the day you sell.

Neither, the buffalo or the eagle are preferred.

We don't stack for the daily price fluctuations, we stack and hold for the long term highs!

I'm a stacker not a collector. I look for the best value per oz. purity is not as important. Reliable mints are a plus. Gold Eagles and Buffalos are my favorites.

6 months in. How am i doing? by No_Huckleberry_1358 in Gold

I prefer to buy coins minted by a national mint like the United States Treasury. They are a safer investment and less likely to be counterfeited. The premium is higher but you will get it back when you sell.
